Hey everyone! Happy 2017 :D

I know that I haven't updated this book in so so SO long, so I'm really really sorry for that. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue working on this book, because honestly, I feel like I don't know how to write stories anymore, so we'll see

anywaaay, I found this chapter that I wrote back when I was still working on the book more than a year ago. I completely forgot that I had never published it, so here it is :) I worked on about 2 more chapters during the time I wrote this chapter, and only saved them as drafts, so I'll be posting those in a bit as well. Hope ya enjoy, and thank you so so much for your support <3

// Addison //

It's been two weeks since the boys had left. It had been just TWO weeks out of the gazillion weeks that they would be gone, and I already felt the pang of sadness and loneliness that hit my chest everytime I woke up remembering that Luke was gone.

Me and Naty had gone back to San Diego seeing that we didn't have anything to do back in LA.

I spent most of my time hanging out with her since my mom was always at the hospital; curing people, earning money, all that.

Me and Naty spent most of our time either at the mall or at her house, watching romantic comedies since she didn't exactly like horror movies like I did. Actually, she didn't just 'not like' them. She hated them. I mean, yeah, they can give you nightmares and make you hide under your blanket at night, but I just somehow love the thrill that comes with watching horror movies.

At the moment, we were at my house, watching Just Go With It since Adam Sandler movies were awesome. At first, we planned on making cupcakes and even rushed to the grocery shop to buy ingredients, but then we both realized that neither of us can cook, so that idea went straight out the window.

"Addieee" Naty says yawning, stuffing her mouth with popcorn.

"What?" I groan.

"I feel like shopping today." she says, tapping her finger against she chin and looking up at the ceiling.

"Nat, you always feel like shopping," I laugh.

She smacks my shoulder. "Oh, don't be a party pooper." she says, standing up from the floor. "Come ooon"

"Hmm..." I say, as if I didn't already know my answer. "Nah, too lazy." I say, popping a handful of popcorn into my mouth.

"Come on!"

"No."

"Please?"

"Too tired."

"Addieee"

"Natyyy"

She stomps her foot on the floor, mocking anger. "Addison Kirsten Porter, get your lazy butt off the floor. We're going to the mall right now."

I throw a piece of popcorn at her face, laughing. "Addison! What a waste of a perfectly perfect piece of popcorn!"

"Alright, alright. Let's go" I sigh, standing up, knowing that there was no stopping Naty whenever she wanted to do something.

"Yay!" she claps, running out the door. I roll my eyes as put on my denim jacket before following her out the door and locking it.

I send a text to my mom, telling her I was going to be at the mall. She replies a few seconds later saying 'kk, have fun addison'. This was one of the things I loved about my mom. She was always so cool and supportive.
