"Ace...where are we going?" you asked the freckled boy for the hundredth time.
"I already told you," he replied.
You sighed. "You said we are headed to where Teach is right? But this isn't the right direction."
"Don't worry about it."
You bit your lip. "Fine." You faced the other direction.
After a minute you felt Ace's hands wrap around your waist, his warm breath tickling your ear.
"Do you trust me?" he whispered, sending shivers down your spine.
"Of course I do," you were flustered.
"I promise you...I know what I'm doing."
You turned around, facing him. He leaned down, his lips touching yours. His hands stayed down at your waist while your hands went up to his hair. The kiss was filled with passion. Neither of you wanting to pull apart. Once you two pulled apart, you were out of breath.
After regaining some breath, Ace began trailing kisses down your neck. You giggled as his breath tickled your neck. Suddenly Ace pushes you against the wall, smirking. You face went red.
"Do you love me, darling?" he whispered, driving you crazy.
"Y-yes..." you stuttered.
"What was that?" he teased.
"Yes...I love you," you told him and pulled him toward you, kissing him passionately.
Once you pulled away again, Ace let you go. He smiled at you.
"I love you too y/n," he hugged you.
After a minute you heard a soft snoring. Ace had fallen asleep on your shoulder. You chuckled and lowered him down on the deck.
"You truly are something Portgas D. Ace," you sat down next to him, leaning your head on his shoulder.
Once you woke up, you found Ace tying up his boat to the dock. You had landed on a big island that was bustling with people.
"Good morning there beautiful," Ace said after noticing you.
"Good morning," you pecked Ace's cheek. "So what are we doing here? Is this where Teach is?"
"We have to stop for some supplies. Then we'll be on our way," he smiled.
"But we have plenty of supplies. We got a lot from the last island."
"No harm in getting any more," Ace shrugged.
There's something he's not telling me. What's up with him lately?
"Anyways let's go explore!" Ace grabbed your hand.
"Shouldn't we get supplies and then get going? We don't want to miss Teach and his crew."
"Cmon y/n. Live a little. We won't miss him. Don't worry," Ace gave you a kiss.
You gave in. "Alright then. Lead the way."
The rest of the day was spent exploring the island and gathering supplies. At the end of the day Ace took you to a bar. He ordered some drinks.
You looked around, taking in the surroundings. Something seemed off yet you couldn't figure out what. You heard the slight drizzle of rain outside.
"Here's your drink y/n," Ace handed you a large glass.
"What's this?" you asked, sniffing the liquid. It had a weird scent.
