Chapter 9: Hunted.

The next morning, Jimmy was happily asleep in Krystal's arms. As the alarm went off. Krystal woke up and slammed the alarm off. She slowly got out of bed to avoid waking Jimmy up since she knows he likes to sleep in. She went to the showers to start her day. The whole team was in the dining room having breakfast. Fox was reading the messages he received from General Pepper about their next mission.

Slippy was eating some cereal while watching funny videos online. Just then Falco came to kitchen for some coffee and just sat down with silence. It was awkward since Fox and Slippy were still upset about what Falco said about Jimmy.

"What's wrong with you two?" Falco asked.

"You. Because you are a jackass." Slippy says.

"Why? That kid almost got me killed." Falco says.

"It doesn't matter. He's just a kid and what you said was so uncalled for." Slippy says.

"I don't like kids." Falco says.

"So, you don't like kids huh? Well do like this?" Krystal asked.

"Like what?" Falco snaps back.

"This." Krystal says as she slapped his mug and the hot coffee landed on his lap.

"OWWWWW! WHAT THE HELL?!" Falco shouted as he stood up.

"Serves you right Falco." Fox says.

"Screw all of you!" Falco says as he left to change his pants.

"If he won't change that attitude, I will break his beak!" Krystal shouted out of anger.

Fox then went to calm her down and hugged her in his arms.

"He will change, just give him some time." Fox says.

"No. My patience is running thin with the bird prick." Krystal says as she tried to calm down.

"Krystal..."

Krystal then went back to wake up Jimmy for the day. She came in and tried to wake him up.

"Honey, time to get up." Krystal calmy says as she took the covers off him.

"Mm, five more minutes Krystal." Jimmy says.

"It's a new day for an adventure and maybe a hot shower will help you wake up." Krystal says as she carried him out of bed and did her mothering duties.

Later, they were assigned on a mission to patrol Fortuna for any Apparoid activity, but they are worried that that Andrew Oikonny and his uncles remaining army could be hiding there. But they kept a low profile as they headed to the atmosphere but unfortunately, they were ambushed by a couple of enemy ships.

"Crap! Activate the turrets!" Fox shouted.

Peppy did so and fired The Great Fox turrets back at Andrew's ship. Just then they got a video message from him.

"Well long time, no see Starfox. But you are trespassing in our territory. So, your penalty is a good crash landing! Fire the new Plasma cannon now" Andrew shouted before the video call ended.

One of the ships fired some powerful cannon and The Great Fox as hit to the point that part of the hull was torn and started to lose altitude. Just then Krystal launched some powerful missiles back at the enemy ships and caused them to explode into pieces.

"An eye for an eye Andrew." Krystal says.

Rob then tried to control The Great Fox and tries to make an emergency landing into the deep rainforest. Fox then, tried to help control the Great Fox.
