The whole family was in the living room watching a tape. "Do you really think abuelita [grandma] would hurt him?"

"You've never been here Y/n. And you've never met Grace." Diego frowned at his brother. "If it was poisoned, it would have shown in the Cornell's report."

"Yeah, well I don't need a report to tell me what I can see with my own eyes." Luther point a the old television's screen. "Maybe all that low gravity in space messed with your vision."

"Oh my god! Turn it back!" Diego turned the video backwards again. They all looked closely now. "He has his monocle. Abuelita [Grandma] stands up. Monocle is gone."

Klaus laughed when he also saw it. "Ja, their right."

"She wasn't poisoning him, she was taking it. To clean it." Diego moved to the back and leaned against the table. "Then where is it?"

"I've searched the house, including all of her things, she doesn't have it." Luther insisted. Diego avoided everyone's eyes. He knew what happened to the monocle, but he wasn't gonna tell them. "Dad took it."

"How– "I searched through everyone's belongings on the funeral day." They all, but Klaus who was preparing himself a drink, turned to look at him trying to ignore the girl's comment. Alison being the first to explode. "You're had the monocle this whole time? What the hell Diego!"

"Give it to me!" Luther extended his hand making Diego roll his eyes. "I threw it away."

"You what?!" Alison let out a sarcastic laugh. Diego pointed the knife he was playing with at Luther. "I knew if you found it on mom, you'd lose your shit!"

"Just like you're doing right now." Y/n stated matter of factly. Luther advance towards her and Diego got in front of her, ready to fight his brother.

Klaus passed behind them to lean on a pillar. Vanya sighed. "I know dad wasn't exactly an open book, but I do remember one thing he said."

"Mom was designed to be a caretaker, but also as a protector." Alison shook her head, not understanding what she was trying to say. "What does that mean?"

"She was programmed to intervene if someone's life is in jeopardy."

"Well, if her hardware is degrading, then we need to turn her off." Diego got alarmed by this. "Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait. She's not just a vacuum cleaner you can throw in a closet! She feels things! I've seen– "She just stood there Diego, and watched our father die." Luther spoke over Diego.

"I'm with Luther." Alison said, making Diego turn to her. "Surprise, surprise."

"Shut up." Diego and Luther turned to Vanya with a hard look, she was slow to answer. "I d-don't– "Yeah, she shouldn't get a vote." Diego was quick to butt in, receiving a kick from Y/n.

"I was gonna say that I agree with you." Vanya turned her head to look at him. "Ok, she should get a vote."

"What about you stoner boy? What you got?" Klaus lifted his head in disbelief. "Oh, so what? You need my help now? Oh, well get out of the van Klaus, oh, welcome to the van Klaus."

"What van?" Y/n asked with a puzzled face. Luther sighed. "What's it gonna be Klaus?"

"I'm with Diego, because screw you!" Diego celebrated. "And if Ben was here, he'd agree with me."

"No, I don't." Y/n and Klaus hissed at him. "You can see me?" The girl nodded.

"So that's two to three." Diego lifted his fingers showing the numbers. "It's not final yet."
