I followed my uncle into the room where the guy was being kept. It wasn't against his own will, he just never left. He patted me on the shoulder before I opened the door and walked in.
"Um.. Hello... I'd like to ask you some questions..." He looked up at me, recognition on his face.
"Why..." I was startled for a second since everybody else said he refused to speak. "Why did you want to save me too..."
"I'm not sure I understand..."
"You could have got away, but you made sure to include me in being saved. 'let me and the other hostage go' is what you said. But I'm obviously no good if I'm caught up with the Yakuza." I hadn't even thought of that, I just knew he needed help. He obviously looked troubled, with a depressed look in his eyes.
"Everyone has their lows you know..." He looked up at me skeptically. "Besides, It's not like you have a criminal record, as far as I'm concerned your an innocent civilian." He looked at me shocked. Then glared at me.
"Don't act so high and mighty, after this you'll just forget about me, cast me aside like the dirty bozo I am." He scoffed as he crossed his arms nd turned his head.
"That's not... I think we started off on the wrong foot, I'm Shuichu Saihara. And I don't think your a dirty bozo." I stretched my hand out towards him which he eyed suspiciously.
".... I'm... Kokichi Oma..." He shook my hand begrudgingly before crossing his arms again.
I continued on to ask him questions about the Kuzuryu clan but he didn't have much to give me.
...
"Well, Thank you for that, You're free to go home..." As I said that his eyes widened for a brief second, almost unnoticeable.
"Sure... see ya." He then quickly left with a blank look on his face, I can't help but be curious about him.
Even after work I kept thinking about how peculiar he was, I couldn't get him out of my head, It's like I see him everywhere- Wait hold on...
I looked forward to see the purple haired boy deep in conversation with a white haired boy and purple haired girl, both of them were in tears, the girl more so.
Once again my intuition kicked in and I pressed myself against the wall so they couldn't see me.
"What do you want. Didn't you two run off with Celestia?." He spoke harshly making me slightly flinch.
"We just... We thought maybe we could see the old Kokichi again.. Not yo- *sniff* Nevermind..." The taller, pale boy whispered.
"We're falling apart without you! Celestia won't even talk to us!" I heard Kokichi scoff.
"Yeah right. Don't bother lieing to me. None of you want me around, buzz off Mikan." I felt bad for who he was talking to but I guess I don't know the full story. He said a few more harsh words before the other two left crying.
I wasn't sure what to do, but then I heard a sniffle from Kokichi. I poked my head out to see him stareing at the ground with tears running down his face. No matter the situation, I can't leave him like this.
"Oma is everything alright..?" He swore and turned to me, slightly relaxing when he saw who I was.
"What does it look like idiot?" He wiped his sleeve across his face.
"Right.. sorry... Do you need someone to talk to-"
"NO!!" He shouted at me forcefully, anger and grief on his face. Tears started to run down his cheeks again as he stared at the ground.
"Well.. I should walk you home, I don't want to leave you by yourself like this..." He seemed to hesitate for a minute.
"f-fine..."
I followed after him as he took me down a path that seemed almost randomized, Some streets I recognised, some were unidentifiable.
He kept walking up to one house where he stopped.
What...?
