"Oma, how do you feel about getting a job at my agency?" I froze, unsure how to answer that. He wants me to work in law..? Hah, if only he knew...

"Me...? In the force of law? Your deal sure is intriguing, but I'll hold off for now!" I stepped back out of the room with a laugh as I waved to him. But what if... Should I actually... I've always been at odds with the rules, but.. If I'm a cop or something, I can protect them! 

I... I need time to think...

I shouted my goodbyes to Saihara before leaving. If only I had them to talk to... Maybe if I use Nagito's luck.. I pulled out one of my cell phones and dialed up the number.

*bm..bm..bm..bm-*

"BOSS!! IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE YOU CALLED!!!"

"Nagito, are you with the others?"

"I'm with Celestia and Kazuichi!" I hesitated as I heard Celestia.

"I want to meet up, can you meet me at the Owada point in 10?"

"Yea!" He hung up, presumably to run over as I made my way to said destination. I had named each spot after who had been found where. Mondo had been found here with broken legs and near bleeding out after he had gotten in a bike accident, fortunately Nagito had connections to Mikan, one of the best doctors in japan. 

I sat down against a tree as I saw the albino running towards me with the other two in tow. He immediately jumped on me while crying with joy, the other two were a lot more hesitant...

"Hey guys..." Kazuichi looked uncomfortable, while Celestia was trying to hide the fact that she was about to cry.

"I'm sor-" Both me and Celestia started at once.

"No Celeste! It's my fault, you're right, I completely forgot why we were together.."

"I'm just glad that we can move on.."

"There's something important we need to talk about..."

"What's wrong..?"

"I met a detective... and I think.. I'm going to join him.."

"What!? Are you turning us in!? I should have known you'd never change." Kazuichi scowled at me but Celestia stopped him.

"What are you planning..?"

"I'm not going to turn you in, and I'm not sure what I'll do quite yet..."

"What about being the phantom thief?" Nagito tilted his head at me curiously.

"I'm not going to stop. After all I've done, I'm making sure I'll get you all enough money to live happily.."

"Are you crazy!? You'll get caught by yourself!?" Celestia picked me up by my collar while she yelled.

"I'm ready if that happens." She stopped before lowering me back down.

"I... we want you to be safe Kokichi... You mean everything to us..." She then brought her lips to mine and I froze. Nagito and Kazuichi just watched, unsure what to do.

"Celeste..? What..?"

"It's okay, just go alright?" I hesitantly nodded before hugging them all and leaving.

"Oma you're back- is everything okay?" I ignored him as I shuffled to my room.

I needed a minute to process. I sat on the bed and blankly stared at the wall. What should I do... About the job... about Celeste...

*knock knock*

I turned towards the door to see Shuichi holding a cup of hot coco and a cup of tea.

"It's okay if you don't want to join.. Why don't we just relax instead. He held out the coco to me and I took it with a small smile. He pulled out his phone and started playing a show that he liked, "welcome to demon school, Iruma-kun".

"Wow are you trying to match him or somthing with the blue hair and ahoge?" I laughed a little.

"I bet if you shaped your hair a little you could look like Kalego!" He teased back.

"What!? I'm not that grumpy!" I fell backwards in mock offense.

"Okay finnee, you're not Kalego." He rolled his eyes and smiled at me. I sat back up and we continued watching together.

As we watched it kind of got me thinking. Iruma has to survive by making everyone think he's a demon.. So in a way, I have to survive by making everyone think I'm a law abiding citizen..

"Shuichi.."

"Hm?" He paused the show and looked at me.

"I'd be happy to work with you."
