TW: BLOOD, GRAPHIC VIOLENCE

I cursed under my breath before knocking over a table and ducking behind it for protection.

Women began screaming and men began to fire at each other.

I pulled the glock from under my dress and looked for any clear shots I could take which was nearly impossible trying to identify the Russians from everyone else.

Just then a body hit the table I was hiding behind and some blood splattered on my shoulder.

All of sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw some men running out of the door, towards the main staircase.

"Fuck," I cursed.

I jumped up from the table and vicious eyes snapped to me.

I saw Lorenzo, hiding behind a pair of curtains firing, but his eyes snapped to mine and his jaw clenched.

I flicked my eyes to the door, hoping he would understand what I was doing.

Without glancing back at him, I started firing at men coming at me with various knives and other weapons.

I managed to take some of them down before I bolted out the door, dashing for the stairs.

I heard multiple pairs of footsteps behind me and I cursed under my breath before I put my arms behind my back and started blindly firing.

I heard some thumps and assumed I managed to hit at least, but I could still hear them hot on my trail.

I kept dashing up the stairs, refusing to look back and my heart started beating wildly when bullets were flying around me.

When I reached the top of the stairs, I spun around and began shooting all of the men, successfully getting them off my trail.

I bolted down the hallway and my stomach dropped when I saw Cosa men dead on the floor outside Sofia's room.

I slipped knives out from my bra, and slid them into my sleeve before I raised my gun and shoved my way into the room.

Sofia and Winnie were being held with knives to their throats by two Bratva bastards.

"Ah The Bleeding Rose, we were expecting you," Sofia kept a brave face but Winnie face was a mix of horror, fear, confusion, and panic.

I felt guilty she would have to find out this way, under such shitty circumstances.

"Let them go, you want me. So come get me," I spat, raising my gun.

"Hm, we'll make a deal with you. You put down your gun, and maybe we'll let them go," one of the idiots smirked.

Sofia was shaking her head, telling me not to do it.

Narrowing my eyes I put my gun on the ground and raised my hands up.

"I changed my mind, the girls are ours," one of the guys said, pressing his knife deeper into Winnie's neck.

I made eye contact with Sofia and glanced at Winnie and then dropped them to the floor, giving instructions to Sofia, who was smart enough to know what I was doing.

I gave her a slight nod of my head and she grabbed Winnie by the neck and dragged her to the ground with her.

It felt like slow motion when I ripped out the blades from my sleeves and threw them at the men, who were frozen in confusion, to slow to react before the knives landed in between their eyes.

Then I heard a gun fire then blood trail down my arm.

One of the men must have pulled the trigger fast enough for me not to notice before he went down.
