" Wewo! Wewo! Wewo! Wewo! ".
The sirens of two police cars were heard in one of the many blocks in the city of Central Way. They were all parked in front of a jewelry store in the middle of the night.
The jewelry store had a broken window beside the front door with the many glass display cases inside broken while the jewelry that was supposed to be within then was no where to be seen.
At least if you do not look in the sack that was on the sidewalk. Due to it having jewelry leaking from the opening, people could tell that it was dropped hard onto the ground.
" Dun! " a man wearing a black mask was shoved onto the hood of one of the police cruisers with his face and hands spread across it. An officer then put handcuffs on his hands once he did.
" Alright, buddy..........be a good boy and get in the car, would ya? " the officer said as he gently pushed the man into one of the back seats of the car. He then closed the door once he was inside.
" Yo, ya done over there? " another officer asked as he was pushing another handcuffed man.
" Yeah, you? ".
" Yeah, these two weren't really much of a hand full " the other officer said as he pushed the man into his car. " Good thing they decided to just rob a jewelry store, such a cliche thing to do for a standard thief. Reminds me of a scene in a superhero movie or comic book ".
That last sentence from his co-worker left the officer thinking for a moment.
He then looked at his co-worker again as he asked. " Hey.........speaking of superheroes, do you have any sort of idea of what happened to The Red Suit? He hasn't really been doing any of the crime-fighting for nearly two weeks....... ".
That sentence made his co-worker click in his mind as he leaned against his cruiser. " Hm........now that I think 'bout him hasn't showed up in the papers for a long time ".
" Ever wonder what happened to him? " the officer asked his co-worker.
" Not sure........kinda hope he comes back through. My daughter's a big fan plus....... I feel like the crime in this city's starting to pile up again...... " he answered as he began to yawn. " I'm starting to get tired doing all this..... ".
" Oh, come on........we're being payed to do this. We can't just relay on other people to do our for us.......if so, then what's the use of us even clocking in for work? " the officer said as he opened his cruiser's door beside the driver seat. " Okay, okay..........that's enough of that........let's get these guys into the station and call it a night ".
His co-worker sighed and opened his cruiser door as well. " Fine..........let's go.... ".
" Wewo! Wewo! Wewo! Wewo! ".
The two cruisers then leave the scene with yellow police tape now wrapped around the jewelry store.
About a block away, someone wearing a black hoodie over their head was looking at the scene from afar while carrying a plastic bag in their right hand.
" .......... " the hooded figure said nothing as they walked away from the scene after glancing at their left arm for moment.
The figure slowly walked across the city until he reached a neighborhood near the outer part of the city.
They kept on walking until they reached a rather familiar house, a house that had a massive tree swing at the yard behind it.
After a single turn of the key, the figure pushes the door open and walks inside.
