It has been about two days since Christ and Jones talked with Rain at his house.

He still showed no signs of him putting on his suit and fighting crime again. He would now just stay in his room for the majority of the day and would only come out during meals or if his parents need him to do something.

Today was Saturday, so there was no school. Christ decided to go to Rain's house once again but this time she was carrying a small box in her hands.

Right now, she was currently talking with his mother Lyn at the house's front door, after a short panic attack of course.

" It's nice to see you again, Christ " Lyn greeted her with a smile. " What do I owe the pleasure of you coming back so soon? ".

" Oh, nothing much " she responded with a small smile of her own. " I just came by to drop this off ".

Lyn notices the small box in her hands. " Hm? A package? Did the postman misread the address for yours? ".

That made Christ wave her hand in defense as she sweated slightly. " Oh, no! No! This is just a little something I wanted to give to Rain, that's all. Since I'm kinda busy with other things today, I can't give it to him directly so I left a note on it to tell him it's from me and what it is ".

" Oh, so it's a gift? " once Lyn knew what it was she began and leaned closely towards her. " Oh........ I see, so that's how it is..... ".

Christ blinked in confusion. " Huh? What'd you mean? ".

Lyn giggled. " You like my son, don't you, Christ? Is this your way of confessing your love to him? ".

Her words made Christ's face as red as a tomato.

" W-what?! Wh-what're you talking about, ma'am?! N-no, it's not like that, honestly! B-but even if I did liked your son, I would've told him directly! And since I'm doing the it like this, it shows that I don't like Rain in that sort of way! ".

Lyn pats her on the shoulder as she gently takes the small box from her hands. " Of course, of course it's like that. Don't worry, I'll make sure he gets your message, okay? ".

" I feel like you saying that doesn't really fit the context of what I'm saying, ma'am........ " Christ deadpans before looking at the time on her phone. " Oh shoot! I gotta go, ma'am! Tell Rain I said hi, okay? ".

As she was leaving, Lyn waved goodbye. " Don't worry, I will! And I'll be sure to give him your confession gift, too! ".

That made Christ stop and panic. " I-it really isn't like that, ma'am!!! ".

Lyn just giggled at her reaction as she left. " Hehe, young love...........how wonderful ".

She eventually reenters the house and closes the front door behind her. Coincidentally, Rain was currently climbing down the staircase from the upstairs part of the house.

" Was someone at the door earlier, mom? " Rain asked as he climbed down.

" Oh! Rain! Great timing! " Lyn responds at the sight of her son. " Christ just came by earlier ".

He raised an eyebrow with a skeptical expression. " Christ? What did she want? It hasn't been long since her last time visiting.... ".

Lyn approached Rain and handed him the small box. " She just came to say hi and to give you this ".

Rain grabs the small box from his mother. " You mean this? What is it? ".

" Not sure, she didn't really say " Lyn said before winking at her son. " But there should be a deeper meaning to it. If you know what I mean, hehe ".
