By morning the dome, that I had put up, had turned a lime green, meaning another Keeper had entered and was on the way.
I knew he wouldn't make It in time if the demons attacked around noon. If they attack later then noon we may stand a chance and hold off till he gets here.Everyone was running around and screaming orders. Everyone who wasn't fighting was hiding in the under ground fortress. With holes in certain areas they could see and breathe.
I was standing before the warriors who barred arms. I had my hear bowed and was speaking an incantation. I was enchanting their weapons and them.
James was down below. He learned I wasn't going to let him fight early this morning. He wasn't too happy about it, but sacrifice's must be made, he would be a valuable asset but with his powers untamed he'd do more damage then good. Plus he thinks he can just make then disappear...he can't. He can't do anything to them then his fellow tribe members. In all honesty I can hardly do anything.
"I'm ready to fight Keeper." Said the alpha walking up with his spear in hand and sword on his back.
"I'm sorry alpha but I can't let you fight."
"To hell with that! You may be Keeper, but this is MY tribe and I'm alpha, and as alpha I will fight for the safety of my tribe and all thoughs in it!"
"Fine. We're fine here. I don't know if they will go down below after everyone else, but you select anyone you see fit, besides James, and guard the entrance to the fortress."
"Why not my son?"
"If you die this tribe needs an alpha." he looked at me frowning.
"Say what you will, but hurry up finding your members I don't have time for this!" I hissed my markings turning red. With that he bowed and he ran off.
I sighed rubbing my forehead. Demons! It had to be demons. Why couldn't it have been a war between tribes. So I don't have to be all worked up.
Suddenly horns blew and shouting started. Running up to the gate I held my sword tightly, which had been returned to me as well as my other things, and took a deep breath seeding trees fall to the ground in the motherloads. Then turned to the rows of worriors behind me.
"This is it! The battle begins!" I yell, "The demons are upon us!"
