"Hey, hey, Ashlo," Ryker greeted as I docked in an abandoned cove. He lived right next to it. "How are things at sea? Find any hotties?" he smirked devilishly. I scoffed with a grin.

"Hell no. I'm not about that life," I replied. I had picked up Champ while Ryker tied my boat. Champ continued to sleep while I grabbed my bag. Ryker grabbed the food, water, booze, dog food, and gold. He grinned at me.

"I see your mischievous side continues to grow the longer you're at sea."

"Eh. I'm just good at stealing."

"Come on in. I'm sure you're tired."

"I'm beat."

"You can stay in your usual room. I'll put this stuff away." I opened the door, seeing as how I had less full hands. He set the stuff down in the kitchen before going and locking his door. I set Champ down on my bed and backpack on the floor, returning to the kitchen. His house was a small, two-story isolated house by the cove. The town was about a half an hour walk from us. He never minded being far from the closest town, and he's told me that he enjoyed the privacy. It also helped hide me when I stopped by. "So how's the sea?" he questioned, setting a cup of tea in front of me after I sat down at the kitchen table. He joined me.

"Not bad. Just out stealing confiscated gold." He laughed at me.

"Damn. If I wasn't such a loner, I'd go out to sea with you. However, I gotta stay home to watch it. And keep it a safe place for your return."

"You're so sweet, Ryker," I chuckled.

"I'll take you to town tomorrow."

"Sounds good." We finished our teas, and headed upstairs after turning off all the lights. He smiled at me as we went the opposite way at the top. Champ perked up when I entered the room. He cocked his head as my door closed. I leaned against its cold surface with a small dreamy sigh. "Damn does he get sexier every time I see him," I breathed. I pulled off both of my tank tops, tossing them on the ground. I crawled in bed, and I felt Champ move around. He laid his body next to mine, licking my cheek before settling his head right near mine. I chuckled, hugging him. "Good boy." I sighed heavily, drifting off to sleep.
