"How does it look?" I simpered at it in the mirror.
"I love it!"
"Whew. Good to hear." It was almost an exact replica of Ace's. Just in different spots. I wondered if any of the others would train with me.
"Thanks, Man," Ace grinned. "He looks great." We left his place, and set foot outside. I saw a few guys drop to the ground, and Marco hopped up to sit on a ledge with a sigh. What was this feeling? My knees buckled, but Ace caught me. His eyes held worry. I've never felt this power before. I caught sight of a red haired man in a black cloak. I didn't necessarily go unconscious, but it took me by surprise. "Conquerer's Haki," Ace mumbled. "Who in the world has the guts to do that on our ship?" I noticed his eyes widen. "Well I'll be damned. Red-Haired Shanks."
"Sorry for the disturbance, but what kind of man would I be if I came onto an enemy ship without being a little threat?" I shook off the drowsiness. A lot of guys were on the ground.
"Relax. They're just unconscious," Marco announced to the panicking crew members. He glanced at me as my head cleared. Marco glared at Shanks as he hopped down, making his way towards us. Shanks' eyes followed, noticing me for the first time. This was far more than intimidating. I felt the blond put a hand on my head as Ace stabilized me on my feet. What the hell just happened?
"I don't recognize that one. Is he new?" Shanks questioned Whitebeard. I caught his subtle glare at the smaller man. "Looks like he's just a kid."
"Leave my crew out of your antics, Runt. What are you doing here?"
"Ah. I'm just here to brag about the kid I raised for a year," Shanks laughed. Ace perked up, and Shanks glanced over his shoulder at him with a big grin. "Luffy's at sea, and he's rising up the ranks just like you, Ace."
"Really?" Ace breathed. He was smiling uncontrollably. "Luffy," he murmured, smiling up at the sky. "We're finally under the same skies again." I silently watched his expression, and I felt Shanks' eyes drift to me, almost out of curiosity.
"Who is this kid anyways?" he wondered. I stared at him, my own curiosity growing.
"That's Ashlo," Whitebeard sighed. "He's my new son." He chugged some of his sake. "He's from the West Blue."
"Wait a minute. You mean Black Cap Ashlo? The little rising underdog who first made his appearance two months ago out of nowhere?" Shanks asked in disbelief. He looked me up and down, not quite believing it himself. "He's a lot smaller and shyer than I thought." I glared. "Maybe not the shy part," he chuckled. Ace glanced at me.
"Wait, you know Ashlo, Shanks?" Ace questioned.
"You don't know anything about your new brother there, do you, Ace?" Ace and Marco just looked at each other. "That kid right there is in the news constantly. He's a little thief. He escaped the Marines 26 times, and ended up getting captured on their 27th attempt. Plus, he's a devil fruit user as well. A Paramecia type. What's it called?" I was a little pissed at this point.
"Imperium," I muttered under my breath. My five daggers surrounded his body. Faces went pale.
Whitebeard chuckled, "He didn't like that."
"That's what it is. The Tele Tele Fruit. Gives him the power of telekinesis. He can move objects with his mind," Shanks added. He didn't seem phased at my outburst.
