Everything felt like it paused at this very moment for Aya and Momiji, seconds felt like hours… Time would have seemed to stop if it weren't for the sounds of birds flying by, the sounds of cheers from Daiyousei and the distant sounds of Raiden and Cirno training together.

"Y-you're Joking,"

"Right… ?" Momiji asked, not believing that this could be true. Her eyes looked directly at Aya's eyes, which wasn't making eye contact with Momiji.

"N-no… I'm not joking like I u-usually do, a-and this isn't something I would joke about…" Aya's was heart pumping, her body shaking, her sweat dripping from her face.

Silence came, Momiji processed the words she didn't want to hear from her. Aya tried to look at her but Momiji's unflinching cold stare made her not do that. Pinching her brown pants harder, trying to let out the stress that's too large to possibly release.

Momiji looked at her cup… Empty… There's nothing to distract herself with for a couple seconds. The only thing she can do is to face it. She looked back at Aya and opened her mouth to speak, but she said nothing and closed her mouth.

"L-look, I know that t-this is heartbreaking for you, a-and… I'm sorry." Aya apologized in a sadden tone and looked down, looking at her short brown pants.

"Why?"

"Huh?" Aya then turned toward Momiji, not getting what she meant.

"Why? Why did you lie to him, Aya? " Momiji asked in a slightly desperate tone, looking at Aya's eyes for answers.

"Well, it's because I just wanted to make you… Happy." Aya answered in a low tone, looking down in sadness.

Momiji didn't respond, only continued looking at her. Aya's mind started to think about what she was thinking, so many thoughts, so many possibilities that she can't even trust which one is true.

"I… Heard what Raiden and you were talking about, an-" Aya stated in a guilty tone but was quickly cut off.

"You were eavesdropping on us?" Momiji said in a slightly higher tone, surprised by what she said.

"*sigh* Yeah, I did." Aya admitted in a defeated tone, looking away from her.

"I heard most of what you two said, and saw you crying there. " Aya continued, still looking away from Momiji.

"I felt horrible when I saw you like that, powerless to at least comfort you, But…"

"The only thing I know that I have power is making your wish 'real', to just make you happy…"

They stayed quiet, no sounds left their mouths for a couple seconds. Momiji processed all of this.

"I-I see… But why didn't you apologize to him honestly? If you truly want to make my wish come true, then why lie?" Momiji asked, looking at Aya for an answer.

"Well, like that pile of junk said 'you actually think I would apologize to that damn bird lady?', but replace the bird lady with pile of junk *chuckle*" Aya answered, slightly chuckling.

"Hehe, I see…" Momiji said in a sad tone, looking at her empty cup.

"..."

"..."

No words came from their mouths yet again, only left to their thoughts. Aya then heard a sniff from Momiji. She then turned to Momiji out of confusion and curiosity.

Her head was down and her white hair was blocking her face, making it impossible to see her face. But the only thing Aya could see was small droplets falling off her face, and the spot where the droplets were coming from seemed to be her eyes.

Aya then knew what was going on, Momiji was crying. Another sniff came from her and more tears fell, and she tightened her grip on her cup.

"U-uhm, hey Momiji. Are you ok?" Aya asked in a concerned tone.

"Y-yeah… I'm fine, don't worry." Momiji lied, looking away from her slightly.

"You're crying Momiji, I know you're not fine, Momiji."

"N-no. I'm not crying…" Momiji lied again, looking away from Aya to rub her tears away.

"Oh come on, Momiji. There's no need to hide your emotions, it's fine." Aya then placed her arm over her shoulder, pulling herself closer to Momiji a bit.

Momiji stayed silent, still looking away from her. Aya then patted her shoulder, also not saying anything.

"I know, you want Raiden and I to be friends. But… I don't think it's possible for him and I to forgive what we did to each other."

"I'm sorry that your wish couldn't come true…"

"I-I think… I need some alone time." Momiji stated. She then stopped rubbing her eyes, and looked at Aya.

"Yeah, I think you should get some." Aya then stopped holding her shoulder, pulling her arm back.

Momiji then gave her empty cup to Aya and stood up, and started to walk somewhere.

"Where are you going by the way, Momiji?" Aya asked the walking Momiji, who stopped in her tracks and turned to Aya.

"I'm going home." Momiji answered, which made Aya nod.

"Huh? Oh, you're going home?" Daiyousei suddenly chipped in, making Aya jump slightly.

"Ah! Uhm, yeah she is." Aya said, turning to Daiyousei, who was sitting to Aya's left.

"Well, see you later!" Daiyousei then waved at Momiji, and Aya also joined in as well.

"See you two later." Momiji then also waved at both of them, and then walked down a flat of stairs.

After Momiji wasn't visible anymore they then watched the training session. One was super excited while the other one had a lot of mixed emotions in her mind.

Aya then noticed the sheathed sword next to Daiyousei, out of curiosity she asked her to give her the sword, which Daiyousei did. Aya now had the sheathed sword in her hands. She took a look at it, it looked strangely familiar to her but she couldn't land a bullseye on it.

She then pulled the sword out to see if there were any clues on why this was familiar to her, and not even halfway she immediately recognized the sword.

A red sword with red sparks around it. She fully pulled it out and was amazed. Aya was staring at the sword like it was a photo of something private. Aya then quickly put the sword back and put it beside her, and looked at Raiden who was crouching in front of the lying on ground Cirno with a lot of questions in her mind.

THE END.

AN: Hey friends and oh look at that, 2k+ reads... Nah I'm not using caps and bold font today, that's for later.

Anyhow, thanks for 2k reads, pals! Really, I'm super grateful for the support you guys are giving. I've never thought that I would get this much many reads on my first fanfic, thank you man.

Now, for other stuff. I know this chapter is pretty short, and the reason why was because it was supposed to be in chapter 9 but because I was super drained and tired from that chapter, I kinda have to just separate it to make it easy for myself. Also I updated the description, so yeah.

Also also, I might review my story and give you some stuff on what it was like for me to write the chapters, but I don't know if I would do that so no promises.
