Chapter 7

A week since gaining their new positions, Akashi and Airi had long since settled in. Their teacher advisers had left them to their own devises after a week, since they didn't require any more assistance.

"Mizako, the funding for the culture clubs still have yet been handed to me or Airi. Your deadline is tomorrow. Hikarei, Fuji, make sure to collect the list of students participating in each club and give it to Airi by the end of the week. That is all. Dismissed."

The members of the student council flooded out the student council office. Meetings were held everyday in the last 15 minutes of lunch. The student council was quite small, with only 8 members managing sections of the school. Airi glanced down at her profile list of each of the members.

President: Akashi Seijuro
Vice President: Yunabami Airi
Treasurer: Mikarano Mizako
Secretary: Tsubira Zeno
Activities & Off-Campus Coordinator: Subeno Yoro
Disciplinary Committee Director: Hiroshi Jiro
Culture Club Head: Kipparu Hikarei
Sports Club Head: Oshitari Fuji

Oddly enough, Airi was the only female out of the 8. Less odd was the fact that Akashi addressed each of their senpais by their first name, completely disrespecting them.

"Airi. Let's go."

It was a phrase she was used to.

"Hai."

As per usual, the day went by quickly. Once again, the first string basketball team were about to drop dead and Airi was tired just watching them.

"Everyone! Let's go get popsicles!" The hyperactive Kotaro suggested.

"I'm down."

"Me too."

"How about you Mayuzu- oh. He's gone."

"Of course he is."

"Oh well. Since everyone seems to be going, I'll go too."

"How 'bout you, Higuchi?"

"Gotta go. Sorry guys. Maybe next time."

Higuchi had already packed up all of his things and ran out of the door before anyone could respond. All that was left were the three uncrowned kings and the two first years.

"Let's go!"

Airi saw Kotaro's mouth hang open in disbelief at the sign.

Closed due to staff shortage. Re-opening on May 25th.

"How can a 24 hour convenience store close!?" Kotaro shrieked, causing Airi to cover her ears in reaction. Akashi looked annoyed as well, though Airi suspected it to be because Kotaro had suggested the idea without checking if the store was open.

"Hayama, there's another one a couple of blocks away. We can walk there." Reo suggested, trying to stop the already angry Kotaro from shouting anymore. Already embarrased at the scene Kotaro had caused, Airi wanted to suggest going to her place for dinner.

"Um-"

"That's stupid! I don't wanna walk that far!"

"Excuse me-"

"It's not even that far, you lazy ass."

"Shut up." Akashi glowered, silencing the three. "What were you going to say, Airi-chan?"

At the sudden action, Airi turned pink a little, the same shade as her eyes.

"If you want to, my place is actually nearby. You can take a shower before dinner if you want."

The 4 stunned basketballers blinked at her in surprise, before the three loud senpais burst from excitement.

"Ri-chan is letting us see her house?"
