It was strange. So strange. Why was Yuriko picked for such a game? Everyone knew her for her traditional styled games. Airi tried to clear her mind and shut out any thoughts in order to get some rest before she was dragged out by Kirari again, but to no avail.
Everyone seemed to have fallen asleep, despite the obnoxious snoring of a certain gorilla-like senpai. Sitting abruptly upright, Airi adjusted her eyes to the dark room.
"Can't sleep either?"
Akashi Seijuro.
"I'm surprised they can sleep in this noise," she replied while fixing her bun.
"Same."
Airi was nervous for the games Kirari had planned. She was even more nervous about the level of involvement her teammates would have in them.
"Come here."
Looking up, she saw Akashi's figure with open arms leaning against the wall. Silently sliding over, she stopped next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder. Maybe he could provide some sort of serenity?
"What is even happening anymore, Airi-chan?"
"I... I don't know. It will be over before dawn though. It seems like Kirari only intends to involve me and you, so I hope you're ready. I'm glad those three at least get to rest."
"I'm going to miss school tomorrow."
"I completely forgot about school."
"Considering you're betting at such high stakes, I'm not surprised."
"Well... All I can hope for is easy wins."

All these meaningless games... So many of them too. So many, many rounds of card games, dice games, puzzle games...
Airi felt like this was just to pique her interest in the grand finale. All these pointless gambles made her so bored. There was only one that was mildly interesting...
"After 3 rounds of shogi, Yunabami Airi wins a total of 49 million yen."
Throughout all 3 rounds, she could totally see Akashi judging her. He seemed extremely calm for someone with a gun pointed at them, sitting at the front row of the empty auditorium with his arms folded and perfect posture.
"Kirari, enough of this."
The crazy student council president smirked and raised her eyebrow. Approaching the square table on the stage, she paused in front of Airi.
"Kirari... I want to play the final gamble. Stop delaying it."
"Luckily for you, I've just been notified that your final opponent is free. She's been busy winning in order to earn enough to gamble against you."
"I see."
"By the way, Airi... this last gamble is betting more than just money."

What were they doing back in the student council room? All of the chairs had been pushed to the walls and were facing the centre table.
A beautiful blonde girl with a hairband resting in her hair, eyes never leaving Airi as their party entered the room. She had a smirk on her face and held a briefcase in her hand.
"Let's not delay this any further. Sumeragi, this is Yunabami Airi. Airi, this is Sumeragi Itsuki. Today's final game was created by Sumeragi. In order to join the student council, Sumeragi must defeat you. In order to leave this school, you must defeat Sumeragi. On top of that, the stakes for the game are 9.431 billion yen. Now, please explain the game."
