A Chain of Particular Events

It's one day before May.

Chabashira enters the room, and presents us a test.

I recall the last three questions to be hard. I don't know if all my studying will let me answer them, but I'll just wait and see.

I breeze through the questions, and finally arrive at the last questions.

My face tenses up.

Yep, I can't answer these.

I'll just have to wing it.

The rest of the time remaining for school passed by, and I was already heading back to the dorm with Ayanokouji.

I've gotten used to heading back to the dorm with him.

It's always such a great feeling.

"By the way, those last three questions were pretty hard, right?"

I spring up a question while we were walking.

"Really?"

"Judging by that response, did you find the whole test easy?"

I say with a slightly suprised expression, but with a teasing tone.

"No, I just found everything hard, so I didn't really notice which one was harder than the other."

I couldn't resist to laugh at that.

We remained silent until we reached the elevator.

"Ayanokouji-kun, I have a question..."

"Hm? What is it, Horikita?"

"W-what do you think of me?"

He looks at me.

I refused to look at his eyes, as I was nervous awaiting his answer to my question.

He looks away.

"Well, you're a great friend, and it's fun talking to you."

"I see. Thank you."

"Well, this is my floor."

He gets off the elevator.

"See you."

"Yeah."

As soon as he got off, I cover my face with my hands.

"Haaah, that was nerve-wracking. My heart was beating so fast..."

But the result was good. At least, I know that he's having fun with me. I'm not sure if that's his actual thoughts of me, but I'll just assume it is.

It's really hard to guess what he's actually thinking.

Is this how he feels when he tries to guess what Kouenji does?

Maybe, maybe not.

I get off the elevator and head to my dorm room.

I unlock it, and get inside.

I take a shower and head over to my desk.

Now, our Class Points will be announced tomorrow, along with the Class Points of the other classes.

I've observed the whole class, and so far so good. I see us becoming Class B by tomorrow. Although I'm not all that sure either, there were times where some of them were late, or were talking in class, so maybe the best we can do is Class C?

I'm hoping we will overtake two classes, though.

As for my points, it's pretty good. I have pretty much only used fifteen thousand yen, so I have a lot saved up.
