New Years Pt.2- Chapter 10

7:30AM

I'm dashing around my room, shoving random objects and doodads into my bag. My suitcase was at the door ready to go but I still needed to pack a few extra things like a phone charger, a few jewelry items, a book to read, etc.

I zip up the pack and grab my suitcase by the handle and head out the door to find Ranboo leaning against the wall. "Ready to go?" He speaks, looking up to face me. "Yeah. I think so." I respond, double checking my bag.

7:45AM

We exit the flat complex and start the 5 minute walk to the parking garage. There weren't any parking spots available near the building but the 5 story garage near the flats was where most college students parked.

We were about 3 minutes away from the garage when I hear chatter from behind us. I turn my head to find a group of students. They seemed to be around me and Ranboos age. A few kept a trained stare at me and the others pointed.

I started to feel uncomfortable and Ranboo seemed to notice me shifting around. He turns to see the group and he puts 2 and 2 together. What would happen if they caught up to us? They wouldn't give 2 shits that I'm asexual. What would they do to me-

Im snapped out of my thoughts by a hand sliding into mine. At first I tense up, thinking they had caught up to us but turn to see the taller man I had grown to adore, holding my hand. His hands were slightly calloused, but soft.

A blush covers my face as he slightly chuckles at me trying to hide it. We had a minute left until we arrived and we were still being tailed. They had grown slightly closer. Ranboo realized this and he slid his hand from mine, to around my waist.

The soft blush became noticeable as my face turned beet red. The group noticed and a few seconds later they had disappeared to who knows where. I expected Ranboo to let go of my waist but he kept his hand there with a loose grip.

We eventually arrived at my car and his hand fell back to his side. A slight tingling feel lingered where his hand was. He entered the passenger side and I entered the drivers. I pull out of the garage and start for the airport.

8:20AM

We have about 20 minutes until we reach the airport when I feel a slight tap on my shoulder.
I turn my head towards Ranboo. "Erm...I didn't have any breakfast this morning and I assume you didn't either. There's a Sonic up here, could we get food? I'll pay." He asked quickly.

(We are gonna pretend there are Sonic's in the UK cause it's my story and I can)

I smiled at him and drove into the Sonic parking lot. We pull up to the window as a lady around her 30's opens it. "Hello! What can I get you?"
She says in a sweet voice. I turn to Ranboo awaiting his order.

"Uh...Chili Cheese Fries please." He goes to pull out his card but you smack his hand lightly. "No. I'm paying, do you mind if we share the fries? I'm hungry as well and they are pretty good." He nods but continues to take out his card.

"Could we have the Chili Cheese Fries and a large Large Fanta?" I give the woman my order and she puts it into the computer. "Alright! Head to the next window! Your order should be ready soon!" She smiles before closing the window.

We drive up to the next window, a boy about 16 opens the window and hands us our order. "Uh- that will be...£4.09." He stutters out. His hand reaches out slightly to take the form of payment from me.
