Harley's pov

Despite having multiple houses, Taylor managed to make each one feel like home, curating them each with her signature flare. Her cottage in Beverly Hills, the house we were currently in, was my personal favourite. It was one of her smaller properties, extra cosy and the place we first hung out as friends. Hailee was going through Taylor's extensive array of teas, while I sat i thew living room with Taylor's three cats. Taylor had even taken the liberty of lighting her fireplace, the crackling sound lulling me into a state of pure calm. Meredith the cat had found her way to my shoulders, curving her body around my neck.

"I think they like you more than me" Taylor observed, pointing at her three cats that were completely ignoring her.

"I hide tuna in my pockets" I joked, Hailee coming back with three cups of tea, each secretively chosen. Taylors mugs were all matching, each with a different artistic portrayal of one of her cats as historic figures.

"Harl, I got you Chamomile to calm yourself after that amazing fight and the verbal spat with Robbie" Hailee spoke while handing me a large mug, both Taylor and I laughing at her words. "Taylor, I got you a green tea because I know you have performances coming up"

"Speaking of my shows, I have a bunch of VIP tickets for each of you. Thought you could have a girls' night out at my concert in LA. Two for the both of you then three each for friends of your choosing"

Both Hailee and I nodded enthusiastically at Taylor's words, Hailee also squealing as she went through her contacts to make a short list of who to invite. I already knew. Jen had been pestering me for weeks to get tickets after she found out I knew Taylor, so she was my first pick. For the other two I thought I'd invite Lizzie and Scarlett, as a thank you to Scar and a night away from Robbie for Lizzie. Whether she'd be able to convince him to let her go was another problem, but I'd find a way to get her to come. I messaged the three women, hoping they'd all be free.

"While we're on the topic of me singing, you guys up for a quick music sesh? I would love to practice my set without my management looming over my every note?" Taylor pleaded. Hailee nodded, while I went to pick up two of Taylor's acoustic guitars. I handed one to Taylor and rested the other on my knee as I sat down on an armchair.

"What should we do first?" I asked, trying to get Hailee and Taylor to hear me over the sound of their vocal warmups.

"Winners pick I think" Hailee replied to Taylor's agreement.

"Let's start with Wildest Dreams and go from there"

I shook my hands before playing the melody on guitar, Taylor strumming the chords in time.

Wildest Dreams

Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, ah-ha
Wildest dreams, ah-ha

The three of us all sang together, laughing as we changed harmonies and Hailee recreated the music video. At the bridge of the song she managed to use a tea towel as the scarf Taylor wore, throwing it dramatically at the sofa, accidentally hitting Meredith the cat (much to her disapproval). The poor kitten hissed at Hailee, retreating into a quieter part of the house. As soon as we played the last note Taylor leapt to her feet, giggling with enthusiasm.

"Okay that sounded AMAZING! You two goddesses have to come up on stage when you come to my concert. Selena will be there too"

"Only if Harl agrees"

"Miss Griffin you have a deal... if you let me go racing with you and your brother"

"You've got yourself a deal Varon"

We shook on the agreement, Taylor messaging her team to let them know her new plan. I was excited to do something for a crowd that didn't end with me getting a black eye or busted lip.

Taylor's pov

As we sang Wildest Dreams, I couldn't help but tune into Harley's voice. It was deeper and richer than Hailee's or my pop singer vocals. Not to mention her insane talent on the guitar. She had mentioned she played other instruments too, which just further intrigued me. I don't think I'd ever met someone so musically talented that didn't pursue it as a career. Once I got the chance to leave my horrible record label, I would be sure to ask Harley to collaborate with me.

After Wildest Dreams we sang a few random songs from other artists, then decided to do 'You Belong With Me'. Harley sang it with more spite than I was expecting, each guitar strum more aggressive than the last. Her face contorted with feeling as we got to the final chorus, eyebrows furrowed and creasing her brow.

When it reached midnight, we decided to call it a night, but not before I pulled Harley to the side.

"Harley, I know you play guitar and I think drums, not to mention your singing which is insane. Would you be on stage for the entire concert? You could swap between instruments and singing. I would love for people to see this crazy music side of you because you're so talented"

Her eyes welled with tears and she pulled me into a tight hug, her breath calming as I held her tighter.

"I think this is one of the first times someone has properly seen a passion of mine that isn't fighting. I would love to" she mumbled into my shoulder.

We stood there a while longer in mutual appreciation before going to sleep. Her and Hailee shared a bed, cuddling into each other, all three cats on top of them. I hadn't known Varon that long, but she was already becoming like a little sister.
