Harley's pov

It had been a pleasant flight from Vegas to California. My team had managed to get me the last first-class ticket on the plane. I sat behind a small child which made me slightly nervous, but she was well behaved and the flight went without a single hitch.

As I made my way out of the airport I decided to call my closest friend to let them know I hadn't died, hoping that they would pick up before I got to baggage claims.

"Yes Hailee, I'll get you and your brother seats next to Dwayne at the final. My manager gave me so many tickets for this and I've barely given away any of them. Partly because my parents can't go, so you better come idiot"

"Of course I'm coming dumbass and so is Griffin. Although, he might be more excited about sitting with the Rock now"

"That's understandable, he's such a great guy. Anyway, I've got to go get my bags and get back to my bed. I'll talk to you later Steinfeld"

"Bye Harley. I'll message you about a meet up soon"

Hailee had always been my biggest supporter after we first crossed paths at a party before my Bellator FC debut. The media often speculated about us dating, but we had nothing but a sisterly love for each other. I did appreciate having her and Griffin in my life, especially having the two of them by my side in the hospital after a particularly brutal post fight concussion. I still beat my opponent, but at the cost of a serious head injury because I insisted to continue until the end. My parents back in Germany had called to tell me off, after Hailee and Griffin gave me a stern talking to, but at the end of the day they all knew it was a risk that came with the job I had. In the end, once it was confirmed I was okay, we all laughed at how stupid looking my face became.

As I reminisced about my face resembling a bowling ball, I felt a small tug on my hoodie. A girl, who I recognised as the one sat in front of me for the duration of my flight, looked at me teary eyed still pulling on my clothing. Her small fingers hooked tightly around the fabric, gripping tighter as her breathing became more unsettled. I knelt so I was at her eye level, grabbing a tissue from my pocket to wipe her eyes.

"I can't find my mommy. She went off with her friend and now I'm lost" she mumbled, clearly on the verge of tears.

"Don't worry sweetheart we'll find your mommy. I'm sure she's very worried about you. Here, I'll put you on my shoulders so you can try and spot her in the crowd. We'll tell the nice airport people too so they can help. Is that okay?" I asked her. Her little face contorted by thought as she tried to think of her response.

"I  suppose, but only because you look like the knight in my fairy tale book"

I picked her up carefully, placing her on my shoulders.

"So, if we're going to find your mom, I'm going to need a name and anything else you think would help. I'm Harley"

"My name is Rose and I'm this many years old" she said, shoving her hand in front of my face to show me she was five years old.

"My mum is called Scarlett and her friend is called Lizzie. They were trying to hide from the camera people and that's when I lost them"

I was surprised at her answer, wondering what she meant by 'camera people'. Rose pointed at different people with blonde hair as I walked over to a member of the airport's security, picking up my bag on the way and explaining the situation to him. He nodded before saying something into his radio.

"Scarlett, please make yourself known to airport security. We have found your daughter"

The speakers were loud and everyone in baggage claim shared a look of relief for the mother. I was glad to be helping Rose, but also wanted to get home and sleep. I looked like a mess, a black eye starting to form after last night's flight. I was surprised that Rose had approached me with the way I looked.

It had been five minutes since the announcement, Rose now asleep on my lap, cuddled into my side. I wasn't usually a fan of kids, but she was cute and well behaved so I didn't mind.

"How the hell has the mom not noticed?" I queried, the security guard opposite shrugging.

Another ten minuets past, Rose stirred awake and looked around confused. I tried to comfort her as her big brown eyes swelled with tears once more, handing her my phone to watch YouTube as a distraction.

I looked at my watch, sighing at the time. A woman with blonde hair smashed the door open in a panic, making my glance back up.

"I'm so sorry the paparazzi managed to get through airport security. Apparently there was a famous fighter also on our flight so they were twice as motivated to get through" she said rushed, in a familiar husky voice. As soon as Rose heard the panicked voice, she jumped down from my lap into the woman's arms. I properly looked up to realise her mum wasn't just any Scarlett, but is THE Scarlett Johansson.

"MOMMY WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME" Rose wailed, the calmness she had shown while watching my phone all disappeared.

"I'm sorry sweetie the camera people were being mean again. I would never leave you on purpose" she soothed, getting Rose to stop crying almost immediately. "Are you going to introduce me to your new friend?" Scarlett asked, gesturing towards me.

"This is Harley and she is really cool. She let me go on her shoulders to look for you and Lizzie, and is very nice"

"Well it's wonderful to meet you Harley, my name's Scarlett. I wish we had met under different circumstances"

"Oh don't worry, Rose was well behaved and I'm just glad you found her"

"Well please let me make it up to you. I'd love to grab coffee, if that's not too crazy to ask. I know a cute café. It's actually where I met my husband"

I smiled at the idea of going to get coffee with one of my favourite actors. Before I could respond, another woman barged through the door.

"Scar we have to get going, your driver is getting harassed by paparazzi"

The Lizzie that Rose had mentioned before was Elizabeth Olsen. Of course. Despite being a celebrity myself I was now having a full-on panic because two of my celebrity crushes were in the same room as me.

"I'll be out in a second Lizzie" Scarlett replied before turning to look at me one more time.

"Well, Rose's new friend, you up for hot beverage sometime soon?"

"How could a say no?"

"Perfect. Thank you again for looking after her, I don't know what I would've done if anything happened. Here's my number so we can talk more about meeting up" Scarlett said, handing me her business card before taking Rose's hand and leaving. I shook the security guard's hand, thanking him one last time for his help before leaving the airport.

It was a crisp March evening, the sun was setting behind the Los Angeles skyline. I got into my car, a Pagani Huayra, bought for me by The Rock after I became the godmother to his youngest daughter. The car was one of the most expensive things I had ever been given and a dream car. I met Dwayne at my first UFC fight, becoming friends after he invited me out for drinks to congratulate me after I won. We only got closer after that, always making sure to call and give life updates, even if we were too busy to see each other face to face. He learnt about my love for Pagani when we were special guests at a car festival in San Francisco. The car was proof of his generosity with the money he earnt and how much he valued our friendship.

I drove away from the airport, blasting Taylor Swift as I made my way towards Beverly Hills.
