"Damn, you're really good." I said, sitting on a stool watching Ray practice his guitar.
"Thanks," he responded, smiling, "would you want to try?"
"Uh, I don't really know how to play." I awkwardly laughed.
"That's okay, I can show you if you'd like."
"I'm good."
"Oh, come on Y/N, it's not that hard."
"Okay, fine." I said, slowly getting up.
I walked over to Ray as he handed me his guitar. I carefully took it from him and held it how he was moments ago. He came up behind me and put his hands on mine.
"So you'll keep this hand here, and this one will be up here."
He gently moved my hands in his as he showed me how to play a C chord.
After a little of learning some chords and figuring out what I was doing, I got more into it.
"Okay, wait, so this one is C," I played a note, "and this one is.. E?" I played another note.
Ray nodded, "Yeah! That's pretty much the basic chords, but if you want I can show you more chords and like songs."
"I would love that! But maybe another time, I'm pretty tired right now."
We both laughed as I handed Ray his guitar.
"You did really good." Ray said.
"Haha, thanks. Maybe if I get better I can take your job."
"I doubt that Y/L/N"
"You never know," I said, half laughing.
Ray laughed, "I love you."
"Love you too Toro."
