┏━━━━━━༻♔༺━━━━━━┓Le point de vue de Anhye
Anhye's POV"Anhye, can you spend a day with me? Just the two of us."
Did I have a heart? Something jumped in my chest and I didn't think it was my heart because that was impossible. But his words made me fumble for a reply. My brain glitched for a moment. What was he planning to do?
"To do what?" I asked warily and grudgingly but something was stirring in my chest as the words rolled off my tongue.
He hummed, acting like he was thinking. "Well, how about doing things people do in everyday life? I want to spend the day in peace today."
"Peace?" I raised an eyebrow, not believing him. He simply smiled at me and we stared at each other for long before I caved in. "Fine. If you're doing that, I might as well, too. If my enemy's resting, why can't I?"
"That's the spirit," he cheered loudly, holding my shoulders which made me freeze in surprise. "People get paid leaves when working after all. Let's consider this ours."
His voice was devoid of anything mischievous, instead it was full of joy and... hope. It was always like that. So unbecoming of Wrath. So strange but I was already used to it. Strange but... nice to be with. Besides, what could he do that would get out of hand? For many years, we had stayed like this, never really changing, and always floating by the wind like clouds, greeting each other like neighbors.
When the sun rose, Hoseok was standing next to the diner's place he said he would be at. People passing by glanced at him when he waved at me with a grin, so I made myself visible as well and approached him with an unsure look.
"You wanted to have... breakfast together?" I asked and he stretched out an open hand for me to hold.
"That's how you start a day, right, Anhye?"
I grabbed his hand and he led me inside the diner. Some people turned their heads to look at us and it made me more conscious of his hand, heating up my cheeks. Hoseok didn't notice and walked straight to the cashier to ask for their popular menu.
"Eggs benedict, sir," the cashier said and he ordered that.
"I'll have the same." I touched my dress pocket to fish for money but Hoseok shook his hand at me.
"No, I'll pay. It was my idea."
He quickly gave the cashier some bucks while I stared at him dumbfounded. Did I just let my enemy pay for me? And he paid?
The rest of the breakfast, I stayed silent and watched him eat and chatter about the people walking around the street outside the window we were sitting next to. He was way too excited about having a simple breakfast at a diner. He laughed every minute or so and his eyes sparkled with glee.
"What about you?"
I snapped out of my daze. "Hm?"
"What do you like doing? Or rather, liked doing before?"
I blinked. "Oh... Well..." I pursed my lips as my life flashed before my eyes. It made me clench my dress material. "I don't know. Sightseeing, maybe? I didn't really have any hobbies."
"I see." He smiled softly and that thing stirred in my chest again. "You like looking at clouds? You're sometimes looking up at the sky."
He noticed that?
