The Abyss God (Genshin Impact x Male Reader)

Chapter 1: Descention

Falling. That is what you were, when you opened your eyes. You didn't know how you got here, nor did you know where you were, except that you were apparently in the sky. It was night or very bad weather as the sky was dark, not that you minded it as the dark was your domain. It was then that you broke through the clouds and could cast your gaze upon the land below. You saw a cliffside with a blonde haired girl standing close to the edge. Behind her stood some tall, masked creatures and some that looked like fluffy nutsacks? And behind them stood some humanoid creatures with small masks and a lot of fur on their heads. Some small, some large and they had an array of different weapons. You then saw that you were going to fall right in the middle of them. You flipped yourself forward and did a superhero landing on the ground, while accidentally killing tens of the small fur headed things and leaving behind a small crater. Everyone pointed their weapons at you. 'Kill him,' said the blonde and the creatures started to run at you with drawn weapons. You used the darkness of the place you were to create a scythe and bisected the complete first waves of the masked humanoids. Then a big version of the little ones charged at you and swung his axe overhead to bring it down upon you. You raised your hand and stopped the attack, shocking everyone. You firmed your grip on the weapon of your opponent and it shattered under the immense pressure your grip placed on it, making everyone's jaw drop. It then decided it would be smart to attack you with a right hook, which was also stopped by you with only one hand. You then used your power again to completely disintegrate your opponent, leaving only its mask behind. You grabbed it and it transformed in your hand into a large mask that covered your complete face with red markings and four eyes slits, giving you an inhumane appearance.

Afterwards you placed it on your face. 'Who else wants to dance?' you asked to no one in particular. All of them ran at you except for the creatures closest to the blonde. Since you didn't want to deal with all of them, you spun around your scythe from hand to hand and then stabbed the blade into the ground, letting a thick, dark mist spread in all directions. No one could see anything, hear anything, smell anything or even feel anything physically. Emotionally, they felt fear and despair settle in and they tried to get away, but due to the mist their sense of direction was disturbed and instead of running to the outside of the mist they ran deeper into it. And when after 15 minutes the mist cleared, it revealed that no one was standing except you with your scythe triumphantly in your hand.

What?! How?! Those are the two words that were racing through my head with everything the newcomer did. First of all, he not only survived a fall from Celestia without the use of wings, he even managed to look cool doing it! He also killed tens of hilichurls, but that was accidentally, I think. Still, why was he here? And how did he get here? He shouldn't be here of all places. No one was allowed to question nor threaten my position as the leader of the Abyss Order! No one! But him! For some reason I felt he was a threat to me and everyone else here. So I ordered these brainless puppets called Hilichurls to kill him. Then all of a sudden he slaughtered the first wave in an instant with a pitch black scythe! Where the hell did he got that from?! It wasn't there when he landed! It must be his power, but still, being able to summon weapons doesn't mean he can beat me or a Mitachurl for that matter. I ordered one with a hot red axe to attack him. The big thing attacked first with an overhead swing, but the newcomer simply rose his hand. 'He's surely dead now,' I whispered to myself, but the moment the axe touched his hand it stopped dead in its tracks, like it had hit some kind of invisible barrier. The man, a boy even, gripped the blade of the axe tighter and cracks appeared on it, before it shattered into tiny pieces. How?! I mean, he literally stopped and broke an axe that is as hot as lava with just his hands! I then ordered the Mitachurl to attack it with his fists, but those jabs ended up like the axe strikes: stopped by simply his hand. Not only that he even completely decayed the Mitachurl with his touch! This individual is extremely dangerous and incredibly strong. That was for certain. He picked up the mask and it transformed upon his touch into a helmet like thing with red markings and four eyeslits. If he wasn't inhumane before, he certainly is now. He put it on and said: 'Who else wants to dance?' I had enough of his sudden appearance and taunting and ordered all the Hilichurls and Hilichurl variations to attack and kill that boy. He swung his scythe in weird patterns and stabbed the blade into the ground. How are you supposed to fight like that, boy? I thought tauntingly. But then a black mist spread in all directions, devouring the thousands of Hilichurls in one go. What happened in there, I didn't know. But when it lifted I only saw that same human being with that mask standing there, with his scythe over his shoulder. That's when I had enough and decided to attack him myself. I ran at him, since I didn't have my wings anymore since I fell from Celestia after our fight with the Unknown God. Aether. I had to find him, somehow, sometime, somewhere. That was another reason why that newcomer couldn't get in the way. I. Had. To. Find. My. Brother!

Just than you heard the clicking of heels on the ground and the blonde girl dressed in a white dress and thigh high boots came running at you with a drawn gold, white sword. You easily blocked it with your scythe and pushed her back. She ran at you again and tried to stab you over and over again, but you deflected all attacks by spinning your weapon in front of you. You then hit her with the back end of the long handle of your weapon with so much force that she ended up at the edge of the cliff again. 'Princess!' one of the tall masked things said. You ran at her, but a masked nutsack dressed in red robes decided it would be a good idea to get in the way and weaved his wand around to launch a fire attack at you. You consumed said fore by absorbing it and decapitated the thing. You then continued running to the blonde girl and went to strike her, but she rolled out of the way. You would just turn around and face her again, if you weren't fighting on the edge of a cliff, but you were. And you didn't feel solid ground underneath your feet and you fell down.

Yes! Finally got rid of that nuisance. Not only did he kill the majority of the Hilichurls that were under our command, fought a Mitachurl with his hands and living to tell the table AND kill a pyro Abyss Mage. No, he also fought me head on and easily kept up with me! And now he was falling to his doom, straight into the ocean. Finally we're freed from him after his fall out of the... oh shit! Why would I think that that drop was going to kill him, when he survived a fall out of Celestia! How stupid could I be! So I ran to the edge to the cliff only to hear the flapping of enormous wings, and as if the Devil himself was taunting me there he stood on the back of dragon, it had large, dark red, bat-like wings, a pair of hind legs and a tail. The skin was darker than the darkest night I'd ever seen and had white bone-like spines across its body, including an external ribcage, a set of dorsal spikes and an external white skull with red markings, just like the mask of the individual on its back. From its skull six yellow-red eyes stared at me from their sockets. Two big horns came out of the back of its skull and had claws on its hind legs and the tail was spiked towards the end. I got up and walked backwards, afraid for the second time in my life. I walked back and motioned to the Abyss Heralds, Abyss Lectures and Abyss Mages to do the same and so they did. The dragon landed and the boy got off its back. 'I guess you have a lot of questions,' he said, 'I'll do my best to answer the ones I can answer.' Most still had their weapons out, so I motioned to them to stand down, as I knew we couldn't beat him.
