Erza stabbed her sword into the stone floor of the phantom lord guild hall, using it to balance herself.
All around her lay the fallen members of phantom lord. All in various degrees of pain.
"ERZA!!" Mirajane's voice called out, causing the scarlet haired wizard to look up.
"Mira? Elfman?" Erza asked in a slight daze.
"What are you two doing here?" Erza asked as she ripped her sword from the ground.
A look of recollection crossed Erza's face.
"Who's watching after Sam?" Erza asked in concern, earning a wary expression from Mira.
"Sam woke up, he was in some sort of trance"
"We went to chase him but I got grabbed by phantom's giant. Elfman saved me" Mira finished, causing Erza's eyes to widen.
Her grip on her sword tightened as she clenched her eyes shut.
"We need to find him" Erza said simply.
"Erza I'm sure Sam can take care of himself. We have to-"
"WE HAVE TO FIND HIM!" Erza shouted, cutting Elfman off.
"IF SAM HAS LOST CONTROL OF HIMSELF THERE IS NO TELLING HOW MUCH DAMAGE HE COULD CAUSE TO BOTH HIMSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE!" Erza expressed with concern in her voice.
"His magic was already unstable! But him tanking the blast from the jupiter cannon probably sent it into over drive!" Erza exclaimed, as she began to panic.
"Will you help me find him?!" Erza asked in a mortified tone.
Before either of the siblings could react the building quaked, rubble falling from the floor above.
The lighting in the room suddenly darkened.
A loud heart beat like sound began to flood the room.
As the three looked around what sounded like a scream began to ring out.
Mira covered her ears, as did Elfman. The screaming growing to a near ear drum shattering pitch.
Erza's eyes widened in a sense of horrified realization.
The screaming was composed of various different voices.
Men, women, children even elders.
"I think he already found us..." Elfman said as he grit his teeth.
Elfman and Mira looked to Erza, still covering her ears.
Gradually Erza's pace began to increase. Elfman and Mira struggling to keep up with her.
Erza skid to a stop at a doorway, the screaming growing louder.
She swung her sword at the door, cleaving it in two.
She squinted her eyes as a bright purple light greeted her.
Erza's heart sank as her eyes widened.
