The group went backstage right after they finished their encore stage, trophy in Namjoon's hand.
Cameras were on as they filmed the groups' reactions.
Byeol covered her face as her manager walked towards her, tissue in hand as she saw the girl sobbing.
Byeol didn't put her hands down, looking down as her manager hugged her.
"You did it!" Seohyun cheered, swaying the girl gently. "You won."
°Different Scenario°
Byeol sat in front of two cameras. She was filming a video for BANGTANTV, in which each member would be interviewed on their hardships, something to allow their fans to know more about them.
As she talked, her focus was on her hands, unable to look at the cameras as she knew she would stutter.
"It's been over a year since I went on that small hiatus, and I never told ARMY why." She took a deep breath. "My father passed away because he was sick, so I had to leave to the States so my mom wouldn't be alone."
She looked up at the camera, moving her bangs to the side.
"The members were there every moment. They helped me realize that I didn't have to go through anything alone, and they also supported my mom."
She looked down at her hands again, sniffling.
"My mom was there on our first win, with a picture of my dad in her pocket to make sure that he was present."
She chuckled despite the tears in her eyes.
"It was a special moment, and I wouldn't be here without them." Then the tears rolled down and the screen went black, signifying the end of the recording. Byeol stood up, pacing around in the back as the staff set up for the next member.
°Different Scenario°
Byeol stood backstage, along with Namjoon as they overlooked the preparations staff did in order for one of their stages.
She kept tapping her thumb against each of her fingers on each hand, continuously looking from the stage to the seats, where many fans sat.
It was a few months after her debut, but her nerves were as high as ever. She stepped way, heading to her dressing room to pace as she waited to be called on stage.
She wanted to do amazing, but she was already stressing with a class of hers, and it only added to the pressure.
A knock brough her out of her thoughts. "Come in."
Yoongi stepped in, closing the door behind him. "What's on your mind?" He took a seat on her vanity chair, spinning slightly.
Byeol found the sight entertaining. "Just nervous." She said, seeing herself in the mirror and trying to fix her hair.
"It's okay to take breaks, even if they're for a few days."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You can't be overworking yourself."
"Ironic."
The door swung open, revealing Byeol's manager. "Ready in 5," was all she said before the door closed.
"Let's go give it our best." Yoongi flashed his famous smile at Byeol.
And maybe her best is her best at the time. There's always time and space for improvement.
