BTS 8th Member [HIATUS]

THE INTERVIEW

The members woke up quite early. They maknae line took turns changing as they shared a room, and Byeol was the one female in the dorms. When they were done, they hurried to eat breakfast and leave.

"This place is huge." Byeol said, her face against the window as she looked outside. "Today's interview will mainly about debuting with Byeol." the manager explained.

"Why isn't it about the album?" Byeol asked, voicing the question the members in the van kept to themselves. "Because it's a big thing for the company to debut a female." he explained.

Byeol nodded and the eight members walked inside the building, amazed by the size of its interior. "Welcome BTS." the host greeted, shaking their hands. "I'm so excited to talk to you guys today." he added, taking a seat beside them as he stayed in shot.

"Hello!" the host said as soon as they started recording. His loud voice caught the members off guard, a few of them flinching. "We are joined by BTS and their newest member, Kim Byeol."

"2,3" "Hello we are BTS!" the group greeted, doing their signature move. The members then introduced themselves one by one. "So, tell us a little about you, Byeol." the host said, a camera focusing on her.

"Ah, hi." Byeol said shyly as she waved at the camera. "Well, I'm the Maknae of the group. I lived in New York for 5 years, but my memory is hazy about the place as I was really young. About 3?"

"Her English is perfect. I would even say it's better than mine." Namjoon said, complimenting Byeol. She shook her head, smiling shyly. "And your parents? What about them?" the host asked.

"Ah.. They actually live in New York. I came back to Korea with them, but then they went back for business purposes. I stayed because I wanted to audition and work hard to become an idol... I really miss them." Byeol was getting teary-eyed, Jin putting a hand on her back to comfort her.

"Would you like to send them a message?" the host asked. He then directed at a camera and Byeol looked at it, getting emotional once again. "Mom, dad, if you're seeing this know that I love you and I want to thank you for supporting my dream." She began shedding tears. "I'm really sorry.." she said, wiping away her tears.

(Pretend she has brown hair)

"Don't apologize. It's common to cry when talking about parents." the host said. While Byeol calmed down, the host focused on the members. "How does it feel to debut with a female?"

"Well, it's an experience. With Byeol-ah, we get to understand the female mind better, even if we're just talking to one out of a million." Yoongi said. As he spoke, he kept his eyes on Byeol.

Next, it was Jungkook. "I'm really happy to have her in our group. She trained really hard to get to where she is." Byeol bowed her head and then Jin spoke. "Our group has gotten bigger, and there are obstacles we face daily when there's 7 males and one female, but we get through it."

"Would you like to add anything?" the host asked Byeol, who nodded as she looked at her members. "Thank you for accepting me into your group. And thank you Pd-min, for letting me debut." This time, Byeol stood up and bowed properly.

"Moving on. Is there any intimate moments between the group?" he asked. Completely ignoring the meaning of the question, Namjoon took charge as he said, "We're really close. During our trainee days, we all practiced together as Byeol was supposed to debut with us, but we weren't ready."

"We do simple acts of skinship. But Jungkook-ah and Byeol-ah are really close as they're less than a year apart. And that extends to Taehyung. They don't know what personal space is and are really cuddly. We act a certain way depending with who we are." Hoseok explained.

"What I mean is, is there any intimate moments like kissing or touching?" the host asked, clarifying himself even if the meaning was obvious the first time. Again, the meaning was ignored and the answer was completely innocent.

"Yes. Taehyung-ah, Hoseok hyung and Byeol-ah are very cuddly people, so they tend to hug anyone they see. And about kisses.. They're dares, but Jin hyung tends to kiss the Maknae line before they go to school." Jimin explained.

"And that is all for the interview. Thank you for having us as guest." The group stood up and bowed. "Listen to our song!" Taehyung yelled as they left, leaving the staff in shock.

°Change of Scene°

The group was at the agency, getting a talk from Pd-min. "What you did today was acceptable, considering the situation. But don't do it again since it's seen as disrespectful." That was all he said and nothing else. Then he left the room.

"Should we go eat?" Byeol asked, making her members laugh. "What? Wait.. Do we have to practice?" Hoseok nodded, Byeol's lips forming a pout. "But after it, we get to eat!" he said, cheering the girl up.

"And we have to record it for our channel." Namjoon said. They all headed to the practice room, a camera being set up as they stepped in. As thing were being set up, the members practiced in between them, reviewing the choreography several times.

"Ready!" Taehyung yelled as everyone was in position. "Lets do this in one go." Jimin added and they all silently cheered. It was Jungkook first and everything was going smoothly.

Byeol's rap came on and she did it perfectly. When the high notes came, Jimin, Jungkook and her killed it. Although Byeol debuted as a rapper, she also had vocal lines, shocking everyone.

"And, cut!" yelled a staff member. Despite being tired, the members loudly cheered. "That was great!" Hoseok laughed. "I still can't get over your high note." Yoongi said quietly. Byeol, being a shy person, nodded while rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. "Let's go eat." Jin said, the group heading out with cheers and laughs.
