000. DAHLIA MADISON, the Princess of Hawkins, avoids socializing with the cheerleaders. She avoids hanging out with the jocks who throw balls into laundry baskets. She even avoids the weed druggies who party all day and night.

DAHLIA MADISON has found her people. In fact, she discovered her tribe the day she started fifth grade. Perfect, pretty, and popular Dahlia Madison, the daughter of a wealthy industrial father, was used to slumming it down with the nerds and freaks. That includes Dustin Henderson ― the engineering junkie, Lucas Sinclair ― the wannabe, Max Mayfield ― the skateboarder, Mike Wheeler ― the hopeless romantic, Eleven Hopper ― the psycho one, and Will Byers ― the D&D addict.  

HOWEVER as she begins High School― she realizes that hanging out with the "nerds" and "freaks" isn't acceptable any more, unless you were fine with being bullied every time you walked the halls and being they prey for the whole school. Yet as she begins hanging out with the Jocks and Cheerleaders― who are on the top of the food chain, she finds that it doesn't prove to be much better. 

BUT EVER SINCE the terrible tragedy, the "mall fire" at Starcourt Mall ― which leaves Hopper and Billy dead, and Eleven and Will thousands of miles away, life hasn't been the same. Not for the people of Hawkins, but especially not for Dahlia Madison. With the unexpected death of her Mother just weeks later, life is more glum that ever, despite the constant effort of her friends to cheer her up. 

AND AS DAHLIA continues her first year of high school, her body is filling up with dread at a rapid rate despite the security her friends try to give her. 

ENTER EDDIE MUNSON, the infamous holder of the title, "Hawkins High's Biggest Freak," and "The Weed Dealer Of Hawkins." Leader of an unpopular and "satanic" club dubbed Hellfire, in where they played and campaigned in a game called Dungeons & Dragons, Dahlia is half-forced by her nerdy friends to hang out with Hellfire ― and that includes Eddie. Taking notice of Dahlia very early on, they immediately bond ― realizing they have a lot more in common than expected. 

BUT WHEN HAWKINS falls to the hand of the devil ― yet again, Dahlia and her friends know they need all the help they can get. Because this time, they know that it is different. They know they are all doomed. There is no room for mistake ― because one mistake ― and you die.
