I've know a particular Slytherin since our first year at Hogwarts.

||Flashback||

"Wait here for a minute and then you will be sorted into your houses"

I look around looking for someone to talk to, I will atleast need a friend.

My eye catches a boy with Dark green teal looking hair with highlights. He's pretty.

"Hello!"

"Hey?" Omg his voice! AHHHH

"I don't really have anyone to talk to and you seemed pretty lonely, want to talk for a while? My name's Aether!"

"I'm Xiao"

||Fast forward to the sorting||

"I hope we get the same house!"

"Yeah.."

"Aether" my turn! I'm nervous..

"Gryffindor!"

There's clapping but honestly I don't care. I just want to hear them announce 'Gryffindor' when it's Xiao's turn.

A few people go by and then it's Xiao's turn.

"Slytherin!"

Clapping..

Xiao seemed weird..
"Everyone's that ever been in Slytherin has gone bad..another poor victim taken by their trap" That's a bunch of bullshit.

"Fuck off" I mubble under my breathe as I don't want to make enemies already but I can't help it. I felt like I really connected to Xiao, like one of those friendships you can just tell will last forever. I don't care if he's on Slytherin, I'm not letting go of my first real friend.

||Time skip||

"Xiao!" I yell at him in the hallway as everyone's going to their houses dorms.

"Aether.. I'm sorry"

"What are you sorry about silly"

"You wanted to be in the same house.."

"It's not your fault. And it doesn't mater if we're in the same house. We can still hang out! We'll find ways"

"Why put in all that effort.. I'm not really that interesting.."

"Xiao. Your my first real friend, and even for the little time I've know you. Your so interesting! So please, Xiao can we stay friends?"

"How could I say no?" I chuckled and hugged him.

As the years pass we became closer, I got to know more people but Xiao still always remained number one.

All the other Slytherins started to recognize me because of how much I hung around Xiao. I started sneaking into the Slytherin dorms. I was scared they would snitch on us but after a while they started to accept me. I'm friends with most of them and everyone else is just too scared of Xiao to say anything.
