Hanahaki Disease🌧️(Kazuscara)

There's many different versions of this fictional disease, the one I will be using is where you cough up petals blood until it comes to the later stages where you start to coughing up full flowers. Then they start growing roots into your lungs and at that point you can no longer have the surgery to remove it. If you do choose the surgery you will no long feel love for the person and you have a high risk of loosing your memories of them.

Also I've been watching Grey's anatomy so I was rather excited to add medical stuff, if it's incorrect whatever I'm not a doctor.

||3rd person pov||

Captain Beidous ship sailed through the oceans of Sumeru. Kazuha was in his usual spot feeling the wind rush through his hair and the smell of the ocean fill his nose. It was a new day the sun was shining the crew were singing. This is what Kazuha loved the most. Although that happy free feeling was short lived as he coughed and flower petal dropped into his hand. He held his hand over his mouth and rushed to the washroom.

Once he had made it he hurried over to the sink, not having time to lock the door. The flower petals mixed with blood wouldn't stop spewing out. Just when Kazuha thought it might finally be over he coughed again. But this time, it wasn't a flower petal, he coughed up a whole flower. Hearing the door creak open he hid the flower in his palm and turned to see who had just entered. "Captain Beidou" Beidou walked over to him suspicious of what he'd been doing. She looked over to the sink that Kazuha had desperately tries to hide but failed, once Beidou had saw she sighed. "You need surgery" It was Kazuha's turn to sigh "it's my decision"

"Kazuha!" She went to grab his hand but it was the hand Kazuha was clenching the flower in. He tried to push his hand away but Beidou held on with a strong grip. Giving up Kazuha opened his palm to reveal what he'd been hiding. Beidou gasped "How long have these been coming out."

"This is the first one"

"Then there's still time, please Kazuha."

"I gave my answer"

"Why won't you do the surgery!?" Kazuha had his reasons but he wouldn't dare tell them to Captain Beidou, he didn't think she'd understand. She sighed in defeat. Beidou had tried many times to get Kazuha help but he'd refuse it each time.

In Liyue she took him to see Dr.Baizhu. That's how they found out he has Hanahaki Disease, a disease born from one-sided love. He told them that it will only get worse and worse till it eventually kills him if it goes untreated. Frantically Beidou begged him to tell them the cure. He told them that either the feelings must be returned or he has to have surgery. Although he warned them that if he chooses surgery the feelings will be lost. Kazuha instantly decided not to do the surgery. Beidou understood and respected Kazuha's choice but just in case she asked Dr.Baizhu about the surgery. He said that since it isn't his specialty he would not be able to preform the surgery. That the only place to get it would have to be Sumeru. Kazuha's eyes lit up for a second. He mentioned there's a group of students who study this disease at the Akademiya. They would most likely be able to give them more information. On the condition of only getting more information Kazuha agreed to go. It was a suprise to see how happy Kazuha was to be going to the Akademiya. Beidou suspected there was something or someone he was wanting to see in Sumeru.

"We're almost there" Kazuha hurried out of the room before Beidou could stop him. Kazuha had a huge smile spread across his face as Port Ormos came into view.

Once they had stopped while Beidou dealt with the Sumeru authorities Kazuha rushed to land and told Beidou he'd catch up with her later. Kazuha looked everywhere,
Eventually he turned to look behind a wall and there he was sitting by himself. Kazuha smiled to himself and sat beside him "you came"
