"Yo, MK, time for some good ol' training!" Sun Wukong announced as he walked through the doors of Pigsy's Noodles. He looked around the shop, taking note of how empty the place currently was. Wukong went over to the front counter and rang the bell.

He then rang it again.

And again.

And again.

And then one last time just in case, but no one came out.

Wukong scratched his chin, observing the shop more closely. He then realized that the shop's sign still had 'CLOSED' facing the inside, meaning that Pigsy had forgotten to officially close up. This was extremely suspicious.

Pigsy always talks MK's ear off about closing the shop down the 'right way', he wouldn't just leave without making sure everything is correct. Wukong thought to himself as he walked out the door.

Suddenly he was hit by a crushing hypothetical.

What if the kid and his friends got kidnapped? What if they're all in danger?

He summoned his cloud and began to soar down the streets in a random direction. Of course, he'd find absolutely no clues or leads as to what happened to any of his pals. He stopped at an alley way, attempting to calm himself down.

MK's still recovering from that battle with Lady Bone Demon, I'd only be stressing his mortal body out if I were to attempt to contact him with our powers. But how am I suppose to know where he's been taken to then?

Wukong was dragged out of his thoughts by the shadowy entrance of a particular monkey.

"Macaque, I should've known you were up to something!" Wukong pointed at his friend-turned-enemy-turned-rival accusatively.

Macaque sneered at the sage, crossing his arms defensively. "All I did was show up, it's like you think every bad thing that happens is because of me!" He says as he gets ready to leave the area.

"Well, if we're being honest here, you did kinda set the Lady Bone Demon free. You also teamed up with her and totaled the city, it took months to clean all of that mess up." Wukong responded. He was suddenly hit with an idea.

"But," He said, prolonging the 'u' in but. "I could forgive you for maybe a day if you help me look for MK and his friends."

Macaque deadpanned.

"You want me, the supposed villain of everything, to help you?"

"Yeah."

Macaque and Wukong sat there in silence for one minute.

Macaque sighed, uncrossing his arms. "Fine, I'll help you out."

"Great!" Wukong said, starting to walk in the direction of the woods. Macaque followed shortly behind, it's not like he had anything better to do today anyways. He might as well see how this plays out.

The two wondered around the deepest parts of the forest for a couple of hours, aimlessly searching for clues.

"Why exactly are we searching a forest for your friends? Wouldn't they be in the city?" Macaque asked as he checked behind a tree.

Wukong put down the boulder he was looking under. "If they were in the city they would have left a note. Also Pigsy's noodle shop wasn't fully shut down, which is extremely suspicious. They've clearly been kidnapped and must be in the wilderness somewhere."

"That's a pretty terrible explanation, searching without a plan is also pretty terrible."

"Do you have any better ideas?" Wukong huffed, glaring at Macaque.

Macaque smirked.

"Well, who lives in the forest and is able to kidnap multiple people at once?"

Wukong's eyes widened in understanding after a full two minutes of silent thinking.

"Scorpion Queen!" Both Wukong and Macaque said at the same time.

The two ran off deeper into the forest, searching for Scorpion Queen's base. When they made it to the entrance they burst through the door at full power, ready to fight.

"Oh hey Monkey King!" MK greeted with his mouth full from his spot at the table which was filled with all sorts of food. He swallowed what was in his mouth as he quirked a brow up in confusion. "Is that Macaque?"

Wukong and Macaque were then very aware that they just interrupted a feast and now everyone in the room was looking at them. Macaque tries to flee via his shadow, but the monkey next to him grabs onto his sleeve and pulls him out again.

"Well MK, me and Macaque here were just wondering around through the forest until we smelt this AMAZING scent! We're actually here to eat." Wukong says, avoiding the fact that he actually thought all of them were kidnapped. The Scorpion Queen smiled brightly at the two.

"You're both welcome to join us then! More friends, it's like I'm living in a dream!" She exclaimed, entering a daydream right after. Everyone at the table looked toward the Scorpion Queen with wide smiles, happy to have made her day.

Macaque crossed his arms and sighed quietly. "I guess I could stay for a little while." He said, walking up to sit next to Tang. Wukong sat next to MK, putting himself in the middle of MK and Macaque.

Wukong addressed Macaque with his mouth full. "Thanks for helping out, bud." He said, putting out his fist for the other to bump. Macaque dodged the singular spit droplet that came out of Wukong's mouth, shaking his head with a smirk on his face.

"Now I see where the kid gets his table manners from." He joked, putting up his fist and bumping it with the other's one. Wukong chuckled, nodding in agreement as everyone else but the Scorpion Queen watched the two in absolute confusion while continuing to eat.
