It's evening and Linc and Tami are on a plane about to take off. How did this happen? It all happened a few days ago.
---Flashback---
Linc is sitting in front of his laptop video chatting with his grandfather.
Linc: Hehehe, how are you Pop-Pop?
Pop-Pop: Pretty good Lincoln, how are you?
Linc: Pretty good too.
The two talk for a while, but Linc then notices that his grandfather seems kind of sad.
Linc: Everything okay Pop-Pop?
He scratches the back of his head in embarrassment with a nervous smile.
Pop-Pop: So you notice, I'm just a little sad, I'd love to see you in person again sometime.
Linc thinks for a while when an idea hits him.
Linc: I'll have a week off in a few days and I've saved quite a bit of money from my part-time jobs in the nearby medical clinics. I'll come by Pop-Pop, and I'll bring someone with me too.
Pop-Pop shows a big smile
Pop-Pop: I'm looking forward to it.
---Flashback end---
And so we come back to Linc and Tami on the plane. Linc is watching a movie while Tami is already asleep with her head on his shoulder. After some time, Lincoln falls victim to sleep as well. When the two wake up, the sun has already risen and they are on the approach to the airport.
---Timeskip---
The two have just come out of the airport with their luggage and are stretching.
Tami: So this is your home Linc.
Linc: Well not really, this is Great Lake City, I lived in Royal Woods. We still have to take the train to Royal Woods.
Tami pouts and crosses her arms.
Tami: I thought we're finally there.
Linc chuckles and puts an arm around Tami and kisses her on the cheek.
Linc: Come on, let's get something to eat first.
Tami lights up when she hears the word "food". Linc chuckles again and looks around before approaching a man.
Linc: Excuse me, do you know where to get some good food around here?
Man: Let me see... Casagrande Market has pretty good sandwiches, about two blocks that way.
Linc: Thanks!
Tami and Lincoln head in the direction the man said and quickly find this Casagrande Market. When the two enter the store, Lincoln is surprised who he sees behind the counter. It's Bobby Santiago.
Bobby: Hi! How can I help you?
Linc: We'd like some sandwiches.
Bobby: Right back here.
Bobby points to a counter with several sandwiches. Linc turns to Tami and sees her just looking confused.
Linc: *The sandwiches are over there*
*Japanese*
Tami nods and goes to the counter to choose some sandwiches. Linc also looks over and sees two that he likes.
Linc: *I know which ones to take, and you?*
Tami: *I'll take the three over there.*
Linc nods and approaches Bobby.
Linc: We'd like the top three, and the two in the middle.
Bobby: Alright.
Bobby goes to the counter and wraps up the sandwiches before handing them over to Linc. Linc nods and pays.
Bobby: Say, do we know each other? You look awefully familiar.
Linc chuckles and nods.
Linc: Was wondering how long it would take you to notice. How many boys do you know with white hair Bobby?
Bobby's eyes widen as he realizes who is standing in front of him.
Bobby: Lincoln?!
Linc: Honestly, I'm going with Linc at the moment.
Bobby: Holy shit, what happened to you?! You got huge and nice tattoo!
Linc: Hahaha! Thanks, but you don't look bad either.
Bobby: What are you doing here man?
Linc: Oh, I'm here to visit Pop-Pop. My girlfriend came with me.
He points to Tami, who bows slightly in front of Bobby. Bobby does it after an old karate or kung fu film and bows with clasped hands.
Bobby: It's nice to see you again.
At that moment, an elderly lady comes into the shop.
???: Roberto, did you happen to see your sister?
Bobby: I think she's with the Changs, Abuela.
The woman looks at Linc and Tami and then at Bobby.
???: Roberto, who are they, you seem to know them.
Bobby: This is Lori's little brother, Abuela. And the girl is his girlfriend.
???: Oh, I've heard a lot about you. I'm Rosa Casagrande.
Linc: Lincoln and this is Tami.
Rosa: Well if you're here, would you like to have dinner with us?
Linc: Sorry, but we have to go, we've already made an appointment and I don't want to be late for that.
Rosa: That's a pity, but I wish you a nice day.
Linc nods to her and the two make their way to the train station, where they get on the first available train and head towards Royal Woods.
