It was 2 days after the pair rekindled their friendship and for the past 2 days the press had been having the time of their life releasing all the pictures from the incident outside the bar.

Joe had tried his bed to have the articles removed but unfortunately there was no legal injustice.

Kristen had decided and interview with the paid would hopefully clear everything up and put an end to all the rumours in the tabloids. Mabel whined and moaned as much as possible but Kristen wasn't budging. It was a virtual interview with Jimmy Fallon since the pair were stuck to London for filming.

The pair were sat side by side waiting for 6pm when the Skype call would connect the pair to the show.

"Remind me why are we doing this again?" Mabel whined covering her face. Joe laughed at her and shrugged his shoulders.

Joe wasn't one for press nor interviews but he swore to do this one with Mabel so that she didn't have to do it alone. He reached over and squeezed her hand in support. She shot him a smile and mouthed 'thank you' squeezing his hand back.

"5:59 you two one minute until the call connects look alive" Kristen clapped to the pair in excitement.

Mabel stuck out her tongue to Kristen who shot her a stern look of disapproval.

Mabel rolled her eyes and prepared her fake smile ready for the call to connect. Jo watched Mabel as she adjusted her hair. He couldn't help but admire how she constantly stuck a brave face on no matter how she was feeling.

Mabel glanced at him and smiled before signalling to look at the camera because it was away to connect.

The call connects and an array of cheers can be heard.

"Mabel Mae and Joseph Quinn everybody" calls Jimmy.

The pair both say hi to Jimmy and the audience.

"So how are you both?" Jimmy asks the pair

They both reply saying they're doing well and have been super busy filming.

"So tell us the plot of this movie? Can you give us any details?" He asks.

Mabel nods to Joe to signal for him to take this question.

"Well Jimmy it's called benefits within friends- it's about two work colleagues, that are also great friends, realising that after several failed relationship they're not ready for relationships but they don't want to give up intimacy. So they decide to be be friends with benefits- a classic plot line." Joe explains

"But that never works!" Exclaims Jimmy.

"Exactly! It's following a relationship that's doomed to fail because one person will always be more into it than the other" smiles Joe.

Mabel listens to his explanation and realises the did exactly what their characters did, and like them- failed.

"That sounds like a whirlwind of a movie! So I'm sure you've read there's been a lot of stories surfacing on the internet lately" Jimmy sets up the line for us to clear the confusion.

"Yes. Unfortunately on a night out a couple days ago I had a bit too much to drink" Mabel laughs. "There was an incident that followed where a man had decided it was appropriate to touch me without my consent and sweet Joseph here" she says holding his hand. "Joe managed to get the man off of me only to discover the man had called the paparazzi in hopes of his five minutes of fame." Mabel finished.

"That sounds awful. How are you holding up after that?" Jimmy asks sincerely.

"I'm good- I definitely was in shock to begin with but I'm in a good place now and I just think I'll be avoiding going out without security or friends" she weakly smiled.
