Chapter 20~ party

I press the button for the elevator, waiting in silence, however it wasnt awkward. Finally the doors opened and noah and i stepped inside, pressing the button to the ground floor. I look over at noah who stared down at his phone. "Whats up?" i ask, leaning against his arm in order to see the phone. He thumbs move quickly as he texts someone with the name, 'pete'. "Whos that?"
"My bodyguard, hes gonna take us to the party. Someobody found out that we were having a party and put it on social media so there are lots of people outside." He sighs and places his phone back in his pocket. "Ok." i reply, feeling butterflies flutter in my stumach. He looks down at me, noticing the sense of anxiousness. "Hey, its going to be okay! Im with you." He says, turning to face me, bringing my hands from my sides and holding them gently. I nod and smile, the feeling of comfort washing over me. He moves his hands to my waist and pulls me to his chest, my arms wrap around the back of his neck as i let myself melt into the hug. I close my eyes, taking in the last few moments of peace before i feel the elevator some to a stop. I stand next to noah and take his hand as he smiles reasurringly.
The doors open as the silence is disrupted by hundreds of muffled screams from the people that could be seen through the windows of the building. We make our way to the hotel lobby and walk up to two men, dressed in black with the words 'security' printed on their backs. "We will escort you to the party." They say as they start guiding us towards the main doors to the hotel.
Once again, we are met with the clicking and flashing of the paparazzi's cameras, hundred of high pitched screams and unecessarry questions.
"Whos going to be at the party?!"

"We cant wait to see you in stranger things!"

"We love you noah!"

"Why did you pick y/n when you work with much prettier girls?!"

I feel noah hold my hand tighter as we walk towards the crowd.

"WE LOVE YOU GUYS!"

"Noah, have you ever had feelings for millie?!"

"Where are you going?"

"How long have you been together?"

Noah places removes hand from mine and wraps his arm around my waist, holding me close as we enter the crowd. People start to move away, giving us a slight pathway to get to the car, however cameras seemed to be coming from every direction. Hands reached out around us, trying to get closer and touch us. Questions were being shouted, yet we stayed silent, focusing only on getting to the car.

"Y/n, move out of the way!"

"Somebody move the girl, were trying to get pictures of noah!"

I looked up at noah who has stopped trying to push through the crowd and instead was looking at the paparazzi with a frown. He shook his head and pushed through the crowd, people hurrying out of the way, until finally we reached the car. I quickly step inside and sit on the seat, followed by noah. Security quickly closed the door us, fans still shouting at the windows.
I let out a breathe i didnt know i was holding and ran a hand through my hair.

As the car starts moving i feel a hand touch my leg, making me jump. I turn my head to look at him, "Dont listen to them. All they want are views and money." He reassures. "I know." I say, nodding and giving him a small smile.

It didnt take long for us to arrive at the venue, the same amount of hysterical fans and fame-hungry paparazi stood outside, watching as their favourite celebrities exited their vehicles.
All of a sudden we come to a slow stop behind a car and the muffled screams become louder. I assumed it was because they had somehow figured out that we were inside the car until i realised that they infact werent looking in out direction. I followed their eyes only to see Caleb stepping out of his car, before generously holding out his hand, which Sadie gatefully excepted, stepping carefully out of the car.
I felt my jaw physically drop at the sight of them toegther. Both individually held so much power, and together it only grew. Sadie had dressed somewhat casually but still she managed to look red carpet ready. Wearing this:

I smiled childishly as i watched them walk inside of the building together. I was pulled out of my daze when the car started to move forwards, stopping infront of the building. I took a deap breathe, knowing it was our turn to walk inside.
Noah turned to look at me, giving me a small comforting smile. He suddenly turns back as the door pulls open, causing the once distant sounds to become louder than before. I knew, this time, what to expect so i followed noah as we exited the car. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me close to his side. We walked towards the door, easier than last time as their had been a clear pathway created by barriers.
This time noah smiled and waved to the cameras as he walked.

As we entered the building, the sound of distant music filled my ears. We started to walk towards the doors which, bright colourful lights peaked through. I spotted caleb and sadie waiting near the doors, it seemed that they had been waiting for us too. "Hey guys!" I said loudly, gaining their attention.

"Hey, we saw you two coming out of your car and we thought we would wait. Also y/n you look stunning!" Sadie replies.
"Thanks, but look at you!" I say, motioning towards her outfit. She smiles, "Thanks. Anyway, lets go inside, apprently theres loads of people."
I begin to mess with the rings on my fingers, slightly worried at the thought of being around so many strangers. Noah looks down at me and whipers, "We will be fine, lets just enjoy tonight and have fun!" I nod my head and smile, "Thank you." i say, placing a small kiss to his cheek.

I gesture towards the door, "Lets go then!"

Sorry its short i just wanted to get a chapter out, i promise there will be more frequent updates. Ive been struggling with mental health stuff recently and its been hard to find the motivation to write. But im starting to enjoy it again now!

Also i have started a new book called "Escaped" and its a stranger things story, with no love interest at the moment... but i do have some things planned for the future chapters!! Ive got one chapter out at the moment :)
