Great Mother Figure

I followed Eda into the kitchen, my face still flushed because Eda hadn't let go of my hand. It's not that it bothered me, on the contrary, I loved it.

Eda strode into the kitchen and gently let go of my hand, looking for something in the cupboards
"AHA! Here it is!"
She put that thing over her head and she wanted to tie it at the back but heh ..
"Gimme, I'll help"
I said holding back a laugh as I walked over to her.
Eda laughed softly and nodded, turning her back to me.
I tied two stripes in a bow and she turned to the front.

She was wearing an apron with a big word "30 & still flirty" in the center "Great right?" She said, blinking her eye playfully
There was no end to the laughter we had so much fun ,it was just like when we were younger

When we finished cooking and ate all that , to be honest this was good for a griffin eggs

"I've never eaten something like this but it's good"
I said smiling

"In the human relam it's quite popular from what I've heard, Luz said this is called scrambled eggs or something like that
I did it to school almost every day "
She said with a slightly sad smile
Seeing this, I put my hand on her shoulder and smiled slightly
"Is she a special child for you?"
"Heh yeah, the best one"

"I'm glad she has you ,such a wonderful kid"

"Ahh I'm not the best mother figure that's for sure"
She replied with a soft blush ,probably from being embarrassed.

"What? That's a nonsense, Luz told me otherwise."
"Huh?She did?"

"Yeah ,she said you're like her mother and that she's grateful to be by your side ,she really does appreciate you"

Eda's face was kind of shocked but after a second shock was replaced by her lovely smile.
"Oh"
That's the only thing she could say but she was really happy
"You are a good mother ,Eda"
"Pffh stop it Rainstorm"
She said softly punching me in my arm.
"I'm just saying"
I shrugged
