Catherine entered her apartment and dumped her keys onto the kitchen worktop.
"Heather!"
Nothing.
Caterine had just finshed a ten hour shift at the precinct. Her job was tiring but she wouldn't want to do anything else.
As she opened the fridge, Catherine heard a thud. Her head whipped around. She pulled her gun from her belt and stelthaly moved towards her bedroom; the source of the noise. Slowly but surely she reached the door to her bedroom. Catherine placed one hand on the door while the other held her gun with a finger over the trigger. She pulled down on the handle and opened the door, pointing her gun into the room.
"Vincent!"
"Hey" said a strong, handsome man. He walked over and kissed his girlfriend firmly on the lips. Catherine kissed him back.
"Hey? Vincent, I could have shot you".
Vincent smiled.
"Catherine, I heard you coming. I could hear your heart beating."
Catherine couldn't help but smile back.
"Right. Sometimes I forget you have beast DNA".
The couple kissed again.
" Vincent, now that Muirfield is gone and the world knows that you're not dead, maybe you can stop coming into my aparment through the fire escape and start coming in through the front door."
Vincent smiled again and placed his hands around Catherine's waist.
"Sorry. Force of habit."
Vincent kissed Catherine on the lips and took off her coat as his tongue slipped into her mouth. She took off his shirt and unzipped his pants. Vincent did the same, picked her up and gently placed her on her bed...
