About 2 weeks after Y/n moved to Medford it was the end of summer and time for high school. When her dad dropped her off on the way to work she went into the building and to her locker. On the way to find it she bumped into someone.
Y/n: sorry
Georgie: it's fine. Hey What's your name?
*he asked in his Texan accent*
Y/n: my names Y/n what's yours?
Georgie: nice name I'm Georgie
*bell rings*
Georgie: I got to go see you later
Y/n: bye
She headed to first lesson (Y/n's thought: ugh English) when she got to the lesson she was surprised to her new friend Georgie there.
Miss MacElroy said for her to sit next to him.
As she sat down she said "hey" to Georgie. "Heya" he said back with a smile. A while into the lesson Georgie whispers to Y/n "do you understand any of this" she reply's with "No"
Miss MacElroy: Georgie,Y/n stop talking when I'm teaching
Georgie and Y/n: sorry
— time skip to after school —
Y/n was waiting for her dad thinking that he probably forgot about her again. Then Georgie came up to her and asked "haven't your parents picked you up yet?"
Y/n: no I think my dad forgot about me again
Georgie: what about your mom?
Y/n: dead *she said bluntly*
Georgie: sorry. Do you want a lift home?
Y/n: Umm ok sure if ur parents are ok with it
Georgie: yea my dad will be fine with it
Y/n: ok thanks
They make there way to George's (Georgie's dad is called George) truck as they got in George made some small talk and said to Y/n
"Y/n do you wanna stay at ours for dinner?"
Y/n:yea thanks
George: anytime I'm just glad Georgie has some proper friends
Georgie: dad!
