As Caleb, Kyra, and their new team member Yuta left Naomi, Mana, and Nana back in Saharaville they ended up making it all the outskirts of the Desert Region were it was just one big old Desert that goes to either to the ocean or the Fire Region they decided to stop at a village in the outskirts closest to the ocean called Angel Hills because they apparently have boats that they can rent and use to travel to Volcano Island which is the next location of their mission. Once they made it to Angel Hills they found a hotel where they could settle down for the night since it was getting pretty late about the time they got there.
As Yuta was renting the room for the 3 of them to stay at while Kyra was sitting down talking to Caleb about the mission.
"So what are the details for this mission that we have accepted Kyra."
"Apparently there has been rumors of demons lurking at the Volcano Islands talking about making all the volcanoes erupt which would destroy the whole island and people living on the island" Kyra said with a serious face.
"Demons you say huh?.....hmmm wonder why they would try to do something that dangerous, whatever the case is we gotta stop that from happening no matter what" Caleb said as Kyra nodded her head agreeing with him.
Yuta came back with their room keys and they went up to the room after that everyone settled in and started getting ready for bed. As the night went on Caleb couldn't sleep. He was having dreams about his past life so he decided to walk around the village a little bit to get some fresh air and to clear his mind. While he was walking down a path he had seen stains of blood on the ground and was confused and curious so he decided to follow the trail. As he was following the trail it led to the back of an dark alley and he couldn't believe who he saw at the end of the trail was the girl that had on the coat with a hood on her head that was around his age with purple hair and tanned skin she also had a horn who helped him and Kyra get out of that scorpion mess back when they first made it to the Desert Region, but she didn't look the same as she did back then she looked badly injured liked someone beat her up and left her here to die.
"Are you alright, miss!" Caleb said as he ran up to her. She looked up at him and glared at him, "Who are you, don't come any closer or I'll kill you."
"You don't remember me, I'm the guy who you helped save from that giant scorpion awhile back, my name is C-dot."
"C-dot never heard of you stay back I'm warning you" as her legs start to shake and start coughing up blood.
"Please don't worry I don't want to kill you I want to help you it's only right because you saved me and my friends life" Caleb said as he continued walking forward.
"Stay back!" as she started throwing senbon needles at Caleb, but it stopped him from moving closer to her even if they were hitting him he kept walking forward more and more.
"I just want to help you please stop trying to resist your only hurting yourself" as Caleb said that the girl ended up coughing up more blood and fell to the ground. Caleb caught her and said "Everything will be alright" as the girl starts falling unconscious.
*BOOM*
A large explosion just happened in front of Caleb and the girl, inside the cloudy smoke was blue lights glowing as the smoke cleared up Caleb was shocked to see who it was...
