As the group walked into the village, Caleb realized that the humans of this village were all different shades of brown and they all had some sort of tribal tattoos on them. But as they were walking down the streets Kyra had a feeling that they were being followed and she didn't like it. Right before she was about to tell Caleb and Yuta, Nia said with a smile on her face "Hey look it's an adventurers gear shop let's go check it out." Caleb looked down and he saw Nia hugging his arm tight and he started blushing and said "Sure let's check it out guys."
When they walked into the store Nia informed Kyra and C-dot that they needed to consider getting new gear and because the stuff they had on and equipped were old and wouldn't help them much or at all in battle or during a mission. As they agreed she then gives them the idea to start wearing coats that look alike so they look uniformed and depending on missions they can cover their faces to keep their identities hidden. They all agreed and ended up getting a cream colored coat that had a red stripe across it. And Kyra ended up stocking up on more water, while Caleb got smoke bombs and other weapons that could help him out in battle.
"Hey C-dot can I talk to you real quick?" Kyra had said, Caleb turned around to respond to her question "Hey C-dot could you come help me pick out some bows?"
"Yeah I got you, I'm sorry Kyra can you tell me later" before Kyra could respond Caleb rushed over to Nia. Yuta walked over to Kyra and asked what she had to tell him, She then looked down with a worried face "I think we're being followed or spied on by someone and it's like I can feel their presence as if they were right behind my back and it's really bothering me, What should I do Yuta?"
"Yea I've been getting that same feeling from this place ever since I walked in. We need to do something about this fast."
"You think we should do this ourselves without telling C-dot?"
"Probably be best to not get him and Nia brought up in this if we can handle it ourselves"
Kyra agreed and then suddenly a person with a black coat runs out of the shop and Yuta and Kyra notice it and start running after him. The guy in the coat jumps on top of the roofs of the buildings attempting to leave the scene.
"Yuta quick give me a boost" As Kyra tattoos start to glow and her shark fins start forming out of her forearms.
"Got it, Wind magic Rising Geyser" wind formed around Kyra's feet and a gust of wind shot her up in the direction of the mysterious man in the coat.
"Where do you think you're going HAAAAA!" Kyra says as she gets closer to the mysterious man.
The man turned around and pulled out a kunai knife that extended her into a spear as he tried to stab her. Kyra ends up blocking it with her fin, she then throws a punch with her other arm but he ends up blocking it. Kyra then backs up and forms water around her fist and starts launching water bullets at him with each punch she throws. The man dodged each one but then gets hit by a bigger one Kyra threw with both her hands and sended him launching off the roofs to the ground where Yuta appeared in front and says "Wind magic Tornado prison, this will keep you from trying to escape," a tornado formed around the man body like he was tied up with rope.
"Now lets see who you really are" Kyra said as she ran over and took off his hood so they could see who he really is.
It was a man that was brown skinned with dark brown hair in a ponytail. "Sorry for spying on you guys. I had to make sure you were the adventurers that accepted the mission I requested, allow me to introduce myself. I am Kojo and I am the next in line to lead over this village and my peoples tribe. Welcome to Mohikai and we are the Mohilis we are the people that worship the Volcano gods and help take care and protect the volcanoes and the region. The reason I requested you guys help is because my father who is the leader of our people has been acting strange ever since this mysterious man with white hair came into town about a week ago and our people that go and take care of the volcanoes have been gone missing and I had people spy on them and found out there are demons on in the region planning on erupting all the volcanoes."
"Nice to meet you Kojo my name is Yuta and this is Kyra we have to other people with us but they still probably at the store that we were in earlier, I do find it strange that they would want to erupt the volcanoes because it would probably cause total kaos in the area."
"Not just the area it would be the kaos for all the other regions nearby, if all of the volcanoes were to erupt all it would destroy this whole region with an instant and would badly damage nearby regions because of the power the volcanoes has could do really serious damage."
Kyra pulled on Yuta's coat and said "We have to tell C-dot asap! I know he would know what to do about this situation."
"Your right Kyra but after we do that Kojo we need you to take us to your father I might be able to find out from him more information that can help us with the mission"
Kojo nodded his head and the three headed back to the store where C-dot and Nia are at so they can catch up on the information that was given to them.
