Chapter 1: Night 1

    2022, 03, 30

    "Sonic!" Amy smiled, hugging the pink and white teddy bear. She delicately cradled it, "I love it! Thank you." Sonic smiled, before hugging Amy and the bear. You could mistake it as a family photo.

    "Don't ever forget me... Amy." Sonic hugged Amy tighter, she laughed, "Let's not think about the future. Stay with me in the present! So don't worry. I'll be with you forever and ever," Amy replied giggling. Sonic smiled, "I'm glad you like the gift, Amy." Amy perked up, "I have a gift for you too." Sonic raised a brow before being surprised by Amy giving him a peck on the lips. Sonic blushed.

    "I hope you like my thanks to you." She laughed. Closing her eyes in the process, "I l-loved it." He stammered, unable to think straight. Amy only laughed harder.

    The loud snoring of Sonic's was heard in and out of his home, probably because of the opened window. Sonic whimpered, a small smile on his face, a single tear dripped onto the blanket he was sleeping in.

    The loud knocking at his door woke him up, he groaned rubbing his eyes. He gets up and out of his bed, "Who the hell is knocking at my door at.. SHIT!" Sonic jolts from his spot quickly brushing his teeth while grabbing a comb, sloppily brushing through his quills. He runs to his door before twisting the knob and almost hitting himself in the face with it.

    "Uh, h-hi?" There stood a hedgehog, with the same exact colours of him, instead of blue fur he had green. And instead of green eyes, he had blue, "Wow are we like siblings or something... this feels illegal." Sonic jokes, the other kept a stern gaze towards Sonic, Sonic gulped, "S-sorry." Scourge chuckled.

    "It's alright, blue. By the way, the name's Scourge." Sonic flinched at the nickname, "So, where are we going..?" Sonic asked before being flushed to see the green hedgehog extend his arm. A brown teddy bear in his hands. He smiled, feeling his brows go upwards, instead of hugging the bear he hugged Scourge instead. Whispering under his breath, "Thank you.." Scourge felt shocked but hugged the blue hedgehog, "No problem blue." He smiled, enjoying the delicious scent the other had.

    When Sonic took a better look at Scourge he felt a bit intrigued by his clothing style. Scourge wore a black leather jacket with flames on the sleeves, and black and green striped boots. He also had shades with red frames on the top of his head.

    "Take a picture while you're at it." Scourge winked, catching the other staring at him. Sonic flushed red, shaking his head, "S-sorry!" Scourge smiled at the others cuteness and linked arms with him. Giving the brown teddy bear to him in the process.

    "Where are you taking me?"

    "The zoo, it reminds me of you."

    "How's it remind you of.. Me?"

    "Because whenever I see couples at the zoo, always one of them is in awe. It reminds me of whenever you see something new." Sonic snorts. "That's cute." Scourge felt taken back a bit and here he thought Sonic was going to act all, 'awe thank you so much, I love you so so so much!' Scourge sighed, huffing as he pouted a bit.

    As they reached the entrance of the zoo, Sonic began rummaging through his glove before pulling a ring out. Scourge pushed his arm in front of Sonic, staring at him, "Leave this to me, baby." Sonic blushed, embarrassedly nodding.

    Scourge happily grabs his own wallet. Holding Sonic's right hand he guides him to the entrance, the gatekeeper sleeping on their job. A young teenage nutria was snoring. Dozing off as he rested his head on the table. Scourge clears his throat before bonking the turquoise beaver.
