Not the Same -Steddie

FOUR

Steve and Eddie sat on the ground drinkng the blood of a deer the two had hunted down together. "I'm just saying," Eddie said looking at Steve who kept on drinking, blood coating his mouth. "That human blood is so much better." Eddie pulled away and hissed. "EDDIE! IM NOT KILLING A HUMAN!" Steve yelled. "Okay, but the blood is better," Eddie said. Steve growled. "I really hate you, Eddie Munson," He said. "Sorry," Eddie said sitting beside Steve and resting his head on the boys shoulder. "You should be!" He said. "You turned me into a freak!"

They heard laughter and Eddie's eyes turned from brown to a deep red. "Eddie, no!" Steve said holding Eddie close to his body. Eddie twitched as the laughter grew louder and louder, he reached himself out of Steve's grip and bolted towards the noise, hungry for a sip of human blood. "EDDIE!" Steve screamed racing after him. "RUN! RUN!" He yelled to the people.

Eddie jumped and landed on one of the people and attempted to sink his teeth into the neck. Everyone else screamed but didn't run. Steve recognized them, they were the kids, the one Eddie had pounced one was Robin.

"EDDIE!" Steve yelled running to the boy. He yanked him off of Robin and kept a tight hold in him. Eddie hissed and wiggled, biting at Steve's flesh but it didn't hurt the pale boy. "RUN! GO!" Steve yelled.

The kids all ran and Eddie growled trying to break away from Steve's grip to chase the kids and Robin but Steve wouldn't let him. He threw Eddie to the ground and kept his hands pressed against the vampires neck, he knew it wouldn't kill him. But he could keep him down.

Eddie eyes turned from red to brown again and he looked at Steve with confusion. "What are you doing?" He asked. "You tried to kill Robin, Eddie, you need serious help!" Steve said. "I'm sorry, Steve, God, I cant stay here. I cant be the only vampire, i have to find some kind of haven to stay where I'm away from humans and can't hurt them anymore," Eddie said. "Come on, I think I know where to find one," Steve said.

"Let me get this straight, you two are vampires and Eddie wants to kill people when he's hungry?" Dustin asked.

Eddie and Steve nodded, Eddie was tied to a chair just in case he went mad again, Steve didn't want him hurting Dustin and Eddie didn't want it either.

"We need to find a place to go, away from humans where only vampires live," Steve said. "Do you know a place?" Dustin busted it a book and flipped through it. "Legend has it there's this giant mansion in Pennsylvania where vampires live, away from humans in the depths of a dark wood," Dustin said. "So we need to get to Pennsylvania," Steve said. "I'll go with you," Dustin said. "No, we can't risk you getting attacked by Eddie, just let us go!" Steve said. "We'll just keep him fed," Dustin said. "I'm not letting you guys go if I can't can't come with." "Fine, but only you alright?" Steve asked. "Don't tell anyone else about this!" "I won't!" Dustin said. "This is gonna be fun!"
