Dream gets a new objective might be harder then he thoughts. Maybe finds a new friend?

♡New Objective♡

School supplies

You've been attending school

For a couple of days now

yet you still do not have any school supplies

Since, classes will officially start you need to

collect 0/4 supplies

0/1 Pencil

0/1 Eraser

0/1 Backpack

Looking at the objective Dream felt a little nervous because he hadn't seen any shops or was given any money to buy things with. How was he supposed to complete this?

That is until he remembered that there was a shop button in his profile.

I've already improved some people's moods, that should equal some game points, enough to at least buy a pencil or eraser right?

Dream opened his profile and clicked the shop button.

He was transferred into some sort of tavern.

"Ah, hello, hello young user. You must be the new player!"

Dream turned around and was met with a character that had a green cloak with a mask that said XD on it.

"Wait, you know this is a game?"

"Yes, yes of course I do! Now this isn't what's important, you've pressed my shop button, which means you're unconscious in the "real world" alright? So we must hurry".

The man started looking around his shop as Dream watched.

"Now, I assume you've met with Technoblade at this point. He's quite the tricky one, a real heartbreaker. But don't worry, I've met quite a lot of Technoblades through my time here. The man laughed as he said this.

Dream looked at him with a questioning gaze.

"Oh, don't worry about that, the thing you'll need is a love potion. Though it will cost you"

"Wait, I don't actually-"

"You don't actually like Technoblade? Sorry I was rude to assume. That's usually what most people go to. Which one is it then? Wilbur, Fundy?"

"I mean I like them all as friends but I'm not understanding why I need a potion? Besides i'm not here for that I'm here to buy some school supplies"

"Some... school supplies?"

Dream nodded

"Do you know what's going on here? Do you have brain damage? Please tell me you don't have brain damage. Oh, I'm so dead if you have brain damage"

"No, it's not brain damage I just need to but some school supplies"

"That's what I don't understand."

"Okay, so um, I need to complete my objective"

"Which is?"

"To get school supplies"

"Okay, well I see the problem here" XD said.

"First of all I can't help you with objectives. Second, if you want to complete objectives you should be getting those supplies from the games world. That's how the game works, things might seem coincidental... But it never is."

"that doesn't make sense"

"I'm sorry, what doesn't make sense?"

"Things being coincidental"

"Look, I now you might think that your hot or whatever but your gonna get seriously hum-"

"What? No I'm saying that some things might be coincidental but, I mean playing in the festival, and-" Dream flushed. "...Other things that happened to me might not be"

Xd stared at dream for a little while. "What are these things?"

"Well um, I have a friend his name is Technobalde, and in the festival I might of sorta kicked him in the you know what"

For a second XD thought about how funny it would be to see that happen. But, was then brought back to reality.

"YOU DID WHAT? TO THE LOVE INTEREST?" XD yelled. "OKAY, WOW, NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! Because to get points and money you need to be liked, which is why I'm here. I help you get items so that people like Wilbur, Fundy and Technoblade do anything you want. Got it? Now how about that potion?"

"I really don't need a potion though."

"Hon, you're in a dating simulator, you need them to like you so you can...you know do stuff. It might be over with you and Technoblade but I mean there's still Sapnap? Or George, he's a real eye candy. I mean who doesn't like a hot person taking care of them, right? It's what? Your third day and so far you've..."

The shop owner looked at a clipboard stopping in his tracks.

"I... IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE! This is your third day and you've already... LOOK AT THOSE POINTS"

"HEY, YOU, WHAT"S YOUR NAME?"

"Uh, it's Dream?"

"HOW'D YOU DO THIS?"

"Do what? I'm sorry I'm really confused right now, Why are you yelling?"

The man took a deep breath. "Okay, I see now that the things in my shop will be of no use to you. You've impressed me, Dream, so, I will give you my name, It's XD. Please, let's be partner's"

"Look, XD, I would love to... but I'm kind of confused of what just happened"

"..." XD sighed.

"Okay, well, uh, you wanted to know about the objectives right?"

"YES! sorry sorry yes I would like to know!"

"Like I said it's against the rules for me to give you direct items like that so, I'll say this don't worry too much, you'll find your things, try looking around the school."

"I see, Thank you"

"Of course, I'm also gonna do one thing for a low low price of... let's say 100 gold, I'd like to be in touch with you. You might be a little confused, it just means that I'll be able to see what you're doing, and I can help you with information."

"Oh- I'm sorry I don't think I have enough money"

"Actually you've got plenty, plus you'll make more anyways. It wouldn't hurt to let me be on your side"

"I see, then I would like to be in touch with you..."

A pop up screen appeared in front of Dreams face.

For 100 gold?

"Yes"

Dream stood there for a moment staring at XD as XD stared back.

"How do I get out of here?"

"Take the door out the back"

"Oh, thanks, I'll see you later, XD"

Dream left out the door.

XD was standing there in his tavern collecting his money.

Damn, he's both dumb and oblivious as h*ll. But, he still is a lot better than most. I mean he's already made all of the love interests fall in love with him... Actually, I've never seen this happen before. What was the game master thinking? Maybe, I should report this.

Hmm no.

...Instead, let's try to milk him as much as we can. He is walking money after all. Plus, I feel like he'll be pretty fun to watch. Let's see what we can do from here...
