Chapter Text:
Dream walked back to his bench so he could go and hang out with XD. Entering the tavern he found XD tending to the rose he got him.
“Hey XD!” Dream said as he sat down at the table.
“Hello, Dream. I assume you're coming back from meeting with George?”
“Yeah, turns out the whole problem were those people that were threatening me before”
“Oh my goodness, well how are we going to deal with this?”
“Well actually, George told me that he would be able to protect me.”
“I see…”
Wait, I feel like the situation just got awkward…
“ Dream?”
“Yes?”
“Would you like to see what me and the flower did today?”
Maybe I read him wrong… “Sure XD I would love too”
Dream listened to XD as he told him what he and the flower did today. Afterwards, Dream bought and ate some food as they talked about random things and when there was nothing more to talk about they sat in bliss. As Dream finished up his meal he took the food and threw it away.
“Alright, XD I will be going now” Dream got up to leave through the door.
Turning around he went to XD
“Oh did you forget something?”
Dream hugged XD.
“W-What are you doing?”
“I’m hugging you silly”
“Why?”
“I felt like you needed it”
XD awkwardly put his arms around Dream.
Hopefully Dream can’t hear how fast my heart is beating right now…
“Besides, it feels like we're the only real people here,” Dream said.
Oh…
XD felt his heart stop.
Dream let go of XD “Bye, hope you feel better” Dream said as he walked out the door.
Oh no, this is bad. I have to let him know…But, It’s against the rules. F*ck What do I do now?
Dream exited the tavern.
Hmm, What should I do now? I know I haven’t looked at the extras in a while and I’ve met so many new people I could do that.
