Taming The Untamable

Chapter 2

Sonic was sound asleep as he loudly snored, the sun shining through the window. Sonic groaned, pulling the blanket over him, trying to fall back asleep. A knock on the door interrupted the blue hedgehog's slumber as he growled. "I'm up damn it!" Sonic shouted, making the knock on the door stop. 

"Come outside, eat proper food." the female's voice muffled through the door. Sonic got up, mimicking the female's voice, making an annoyed face as he groaned after. "Well, good morning." The female bat said, smiling as she waved. Shadow stood by the stove, making breakfast. Said hedgehog turned around, a small smile appeared on the tired hedgehog's face. "Have you been fighting a ghost or something?" Sonic blurted out as he sat down a few seats away from the bat. "What do you mean?" Shadow asked, turning off the stove and placing the food onto two plates. 

"You look exhausted," The bat said before chuckling. "But to be honest, you really do look like you just fought a ghost." The bat added before laughing a little. "Shut up, Rouge." Shadow growled, glaring at Rouge before placing the plates down. "Hey.. Where's your plate?" 

"He doesn't need to food to be energized." 

   "Oh? How interesting."  

Sonic mumbled before slightly groaned, holding his head as his ears lowered. "Will you guys stop that!"

"It's not my fault, Exe is bickering about killing them!"   

"At least let me kill the bat... she looks disgusting."

"No, no one's killing anyone, you guys are going to stop giving me a headache before I start to go crazy!"

Sonic growled under his breathe, his ears pinned to his head. "What's going on, are you okay?" Rouge asked, placing a hand on his Shoulder. "I-I'm fine..." Sonic said as his headache disappeared, he placed his head on the counter and huffed. "I've got to go, don't bring that damn echidna here, or you'll hear it from me." Shadow said glaring at Rouge as he grabbed his things and already by the door. "Fine, but I won't promise~" Rouge said and winked before waving Shadow off. 

After a few hours of boringness in Sonic's room, he heard a knock on the door. Curious, Sonic got up to check on it. Maybe the girl ordered something? or invited someone over? Sonic thought to himself as he reached for the doorknob. He slightly opened the door and poked his head out, seeing a tall red echidna standing outside. "And who are you?" Sonic asked as he opened the door wider. 

"I should be asking you that, I'm here be request of a friend." The echidna said before chuckling slightly. "Does your friend happen to be a white bat?" Sonic asked, raising his eyebrow as he placed on hand on his hip. The echidna nodded, rubbing his the back of his head nervously. 

Sonic huffed, a bit annoyed that there was a visitor. "Miss Rouge, someone is at the door for you!" Sonic shouted, keeping a straight face as he started getting a headache, his ears lowering. "Ah! thanks for answering that for me, Hey Knuckles." Rouge said as she smiled, waving at her friend. "No- problem." Sonic said through his grumbles as he walked back to his room. 

Flopping on his head, he closed his eyes, relaxing his mind and body, ignoring the noise beyond the door. 

Sonic opened his eyes again as he slightly groaned, being in a white space with lots of bright lights. "Here again?" Sonic mumbled as he looked around. 

"Look who decided to show up again."

"I'm not in the mood Exe."

"Oh, but you will be- Argh!"

"That should show him. Sonic, you messed up. Bad."

"And how so."

Dark placed his hand on Sonic's shoulder as said hedgehog raised eyebrow. Dark showed an image of Shadow in G.U.N.

"What does that mean, why are you showing me a point of view of Shadow at work?"

  "There's something out there, remember the first time ending up in the asylum?"

"Yes? My supposed friends turned me in for the safety of Mobius."

"They're not quite safe as they say they are. there's a new threat."

"And that is?"

 "The last time you fought that Round idiot with that metal version of yourself, I've got to notice something."

"Notice what-?" 

A noise was heard in an echo, annoying the dark blue hedgehog as he covered his ears. 

"I'll explain later tonight, but this is between us. Don't tell anyone."

Sonic opened his eyes once more to the sound of knocking on the door. "Leave me alone!" Sonic shouted, placing a pillow over his face. "Well I guess you don't want to get fresh are then, oh well." Rouge's sigh muffled through the door. Sonic groaned in defeat, getting up from the bed. "Fine." Sonic said opening the door, seeing the bat smirking. "Let's go." 

Sonic quickly covered his eyes as the rays of the sun hit his eyelids. "I forgot you're not used to the sun anymore, Sonic." Rouge said, grabbed Sonic's hand and dragging him somewhere. "Where are we going?" Sonic asked, trying to pull away from Rouge's grip. 

"You'll see when we get there."

   "I have a bad feeling about this."

"Ya think?"
