I sit and watch my love go through the most horrendous body check I've seen (well it may be amplified now that I'm pregnant and watching number 21 being slammed into the panel just in front of me). He stood up and got straight back into the action with 50 seconds to go on the clock and only 5-5 at the moment, Garrison gets passed the puck, who passes to James who backhands it to a Mr Archer who is travelling full pelt down the ice, he shoot and the puck slides into the back of the net, 6-5 to the Blues courtesy of my baby daddy.

After the teams shook hands Liam glides his way over to me to do post game interview, "Liam, you were on fire tonight, how's the head after that knock" he knows I'm more asking to put my mind at ease, "I'm doing fine the doc said I'll potentially have a headache so nothing to major", he smiles as he looks directly into my eyes, "so the game, as captain one thing you guys did well and one thing to improve on", he chuckled "our defence is something that needs work but our attack was on point."

After the interview he pecked my lips and told me to wait for him near the changing rooms. Which I am doing, three what I can only assume are puck bunnies (since being more involved with the club i've began to recognise a few by name or player they go to, and Brittney always goes to Liam, like every time), and right on cue Liam left the changing room heading to me when Brittney wraps her extremely to long nails around his bicep, "hey Lee, you want to come to my place tonight?", "we have the same conversation every week, the answer is no, I have someone who satisfies me better than anyone else, so please have some respect and class, and leave me the hell alone". She looked absolute stunned as Liam guided me to the exit before smashing me against the wall to the car park and kissing me like I'm his only air source.

White chocolate sounds really great right about now oh with creamy sweet potato mash, I look to the clock which reads 1:50am. I look to my right and am met with a sleepy looking Liam who is drooling just a little from his slightly open mouth. So I get up and go to the fridge searching for the two ingredients I am craving, my search doesn't go well as we haven't been shopping this week, so we have milk and some vegetables. I bust into tears at the thought of not fulfilling our baby's craving.

"Baby, what happened? Are you ok?" Liam crouches down next to me who is still in tears, "I got... a craving... and we don't have it... I can't even fulfil our baby's cravings... how an I meant to be a good mum", he looks so confused but goes with it anyway, "your be a great mum Abby, what are you craving?", "White chocolate with creamy sweet potato mash" I look up to his eyes that are just as soft as the times he kisses my bump, "ok, wait here, I'll be back in 20 mins".

Dead on 20 minutes later Liam comes into the kitchen with a large bar of white chocolate and starts to peel the potatoes, "here start snacking on this baby, your sweet potatoes will be a few minutes yet", I take a few pieces to munch on whilst he took a strip to add to the mash, I know full well he is disgusted at this combination but he's still making it for me. I honestly can't believe after the game he had tonight how he actually just went shopping for his pregnant hormonal girlfriend at 2 am.

"There you go baby, enjoy" he said as he placed the bowl in front of me and kissed the bump, then the top of my head. I unintentionally moan at the fact I really craved this and struggled to sleep because of this. "Thank you, babe. Now go to bed you must be knackered", he shook his head and rested his head on my shoulder, "if your up, then so am I, that rule stands now and when we have a screaming newborn", "really you want to wake up with me at 3 in the morning to feed our baby even when you have an important game the next day." "Especially then, baby. You are not alone, I know I travel a lot but when I'm here we share responsibilities together, I love you so much and I don't want you to feel lonely through parenthood", its probably the hormones talking but that speech made me want to cry.
