The next morning, Artemis caught up with Apollo. He ensured her that he made it back to his dormitory without being caught. He also informed her that the four figures who ran past them were none other than Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville, told by the fat lady. They were asleep by the time Apollo got back.

"I wonder why they were there in the first place?" Artemis wondered.

"Well whatever it was, it wasn't good. The fat lady said they all looked scared" said Apollo, "Also your roots are starting to show, and so are mine. You better tell mom that we need more dye before it's more noticeable and it starts to fade."

Artemis takes a part of her hair and looks at it. Sure enough it started to look like a dark gray. She grabbed a mirror looking at her roots, and a patch of white started to peak out. Apollo took off to the Gryffindor table, joining his friends for breakfast. Artemis did the same, joining Alex.

"Good morning Artemis," said Alex, "Why do you look sluggish?"

"Rough night" she replied, wrapping her hair into a bun.

"I bet. Do you wanna talk about it?"

"Not really but it would be nice to have someone else other than my brother. But you have to promise to not tell anyone!"

"Okay I promise" Alex seemed a little concerned.

"So last night-"

Artemis was interrupted by Mia who was standing between them.

"Hey Artie! I was wondering if you wanted to join me and a couple of other girls to play some games at the Hufflepuff common room. And don't worry none of the other Hufflepuffs will tell about you guys being there." smiled Mia.

Artemis noticed Alex rolling his eyes.

"Oh uh sure. Sounds great!" replied Artemis.

"Yay! Oh ahem, Alex I would invite you but it's girls, only" Mia informed.

"Really, it's no problem" Alex gave a fake smile.

"Alright, see ya later Artie!" Mia left back to her table.

"Artie? Really?" grinned Alex.

"I regret telling her that. It's a nickname my family gave me" Artemis replied.

"Guess I'm calling you Artie, now."

"Please don't."

"Too late" Alex chuckled as Artemis hit his arm.

Liakada, Apollo's barn owl, flew in, dropping off a letter for Artemis. It read:

Dear Artemis,

I hope all is well and you're learning lots. Please advise your brother to not cause too much trouble as I heard he's befriended the Weasley twins. Other than that, I spoke to Professor Dumbledore about your social meter and such, I know you're tired. And he has agreed to give you and Apollo permission to soak a bath in the prefect bathroom. I hope you accept and take a relaxing bath as I know being surrounded by others can be draining. Inform your brother for me. I love you.

Love,

Mom <3

Artemis smiled but wondered how she knew about being socially exhausted. I wonder if Apollo told her. She wrote on the back of the letter about the hair dye and gave it to Liakada.

Classes were normal as usual. She had been looking forward to soaking in a bath the entire day. She decided to bathe before the get-together in the Hufflepuff common room. After her last class at 1:40pm, Artemis gathered her clothes and necessities and headed to the prefect bathroom.
