(Location: Marshall's family house, Time 1:14 AM, POV: Everest)

Everest pov: I was laying down in bed and when woke up I realized I wasn't in the bedroom. The room looked different. In fact it was more of a void. And then I saw Marshall lying down. Blood around his body. His body had scratch marks, bullet holes and knife wounds. I ran to him until I tripped and saw a haunting yet familiar face.

Snowfall: Hello Eve. Miss me?
Everest: SNOWFALL?! NO! NO! NO! NO IT CAN'T BE!!!
Snowfall: Oh it can be, and it is. I told you once before and I will tell you again. No matter where you go or what you tried to do. I will find you.
Everest: NO STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU MONSTER!!!!!
Snowfall: Times up.....

I tried to get away from him but to no avail he grabbed onto my throat and grabbed a knife. I watched in horror as being to stab me over and over again until Snowfall stopped and began to walk away from me and Marshall.

Snowfall: It seems that you made your decision. I tried to spare you but I guess I leave you to die a slow and painful death with your mate. Good riddance Everest.

Everest: NO WAIT! SNOWFALL PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU!! NO PLEASE!!!!!

I shot up in the bed. As sweat poured down my face as I panted heavily from the nightmare I just endured. I looked down at my body and took a at Marshall and I sighed in relief as I saw that everything is normal, who had jumped dimensions to visit. Not wanting to wake him up, I slowly got out of bed and made my way to the roof of the house, where I simply curled in a self-hugging embrace and softly sobbed into my arms.

Marshall: Eve? Are you all right?"

I looked up through my tear-filled eyes to see Marshall standing by my side and staring at her with his caring bright blue eyes. I sniffled as she subtly shook her head. Marshall sat down next to her and lay an arm over her shoulder in comfort. Now sobbing uncontrollably, I threw herself into Marshall's body. I recounted the entire nightmare of Snowfall. Marshall didn't't say a word the entire time, even after it finished and cried for over 10 minutes afterwards. Eventually, I calmed down enough to pry myself away and look at me.

Everest: I don't know why I am having these nightmares, Marshall! I can't stop having these nightmare about Snowfall and him coming to find us to hurt me, or worse, you!

I whimpered as the tears started to well back up again.

Marshall: Eve, we both know that we are far away from Snowfall to where he won't find us. And I assure you that he's not coming to find us here. And even if he does find us and seeks to hurt us, I'll be here. I promise. No matter what he tries to do I will keep you safe.

Marshall consoled me with a small smile. I smiled back, and then we embraced each other. I was slowly getting better of that nightmare. I wiped away the tears in my eyes and my breathing was getting better now.

Marshall: Come on Eve we should head back inside it's a cold night tonight

Everest: Yeah you're right.

Time skip, 7:08 am

Nobody's pov: It is a nice morning today. Birds were singing letting everyone know that today is a good day and flowers are blooming giving a pop of color today. At Marshall's family house Everest woken up first and saw Marshall still peacefully sleeping. Everest planted a kiss to Marshall's check then got out of bed and began to stretch and yawn. She then began to put on shorts then headed to the kitchen and immediately see that the kitchen was full of life of many children playing and socializing.

Ash: Morning. I see you and my brother slept nicely.
Everest: Morning to you too. Oh I never really got your name.
Ash: Oh, right. My name is Ashley, but my friends and family call me Ash. And this is my brother Ronin and my sister sage.
Ronin: Nice to meet you Mrs Winters.
Sage: Please to meet you Everest
Everest: Well it's nice to meet you Ash, Ronin Sage. I should*yawn* make some coffee.

Everest went to the counter of the kitchen and began to brew some coffee until she felt someone wrapped arms around her waist she turned around and saw a still tired yet awake Marshall.

Marshall: *Yawn* Morning Eve.
Everest: Morning Marshy. How well did you sleep?
Marshall: I slept like a rock. How about you?
Everest: I slept better now that I know that you are here by my side again.
Marshall: Yeah *yawn*.
Everest: You look tired Marshy here take some of my coffee *handing Marshall cup of coffee*.
Marshall: Thanks. A cup of coffee*took the cup of coffee and took a sip of the cup*. Thanks I needed that.
Everest: No prob. So what are we doing today?
Marshall: I don't really know. I guess we could spend time with my family. I mean I've never really introduced you to my family. I mean the only one you've met so far is my parents.
Everest: That be nice.

Both Everest and Marshall began to interact with the other dalmmatians children. Everest was the most happy to know that Marshall and his family had a strong connection with each other. Everest began to wonder what happened to her family after seeing Marshall's family. Come to think about it, when was the last time she ever wondered what her family really looked like. Sure she still had her sister Gasket, but she still wonder what their parents looked like, she ever wondered what would of been if Everest was never separated from her family. How would it affect her and her relationship with her family. But she wouldn't have met Jake or the paw patrol. She wouldn't have a beautiful relationship with Marshall.

Marshall: Eve? Is something wrong?
Everest: Huh? Oh, yeah I'm okay! I was just thinking of something.
Marshall: Thinking about what?
Everest: Marshall.... I was thinking about my family....
Marshall: Oh right. I forget about that part. But I know this will probably trigger something in you. You don't have to answer if want. But what really happened to your family.
Everest: Marshall.... I'm just not sure anymore.... After everything that happened.
Marshall: Eve, I don't truly know what happened between the four of you. But me and paw patrol are still here with you.
Everest: Yeah your right. Well thanks for introducing me to your family.
Marshall: Anytime Eve. Anytime.

Both Everest and Marshall began to nuzzle each other until they heard an knock at the door.

Everest: Huh? Is someone out there? I didn't invite anybody. Did you Marshy?
Marshall: I didn't. I thought you did.
Sage: Oh, that's me.

Sage went to the door and opened it to reveal a male black husky with bright blue eyes.

Sage: Hey Rushmore, I thought you wouldn't show up to see your girlfriend.
Rushmore: Heheh, sorry hun. I was getting you the most beautiful flowers.
Sage: Awwww, you shouldn't have. Oh, btw I got a new tattoo and bikini for our date.
Rushmore: It looks incredible my dear. Very incredible-

The male husky cut himself off when he saw Everest. His lips trampled and his eyes begin to develop tears.

Rushmore: Everest?
Everest: I'm sorry. But do I know you?
Rushmore: Everest... It's me. Your brother.
