Chapter 6: Swift's past

❄️Everest pov❄️: I was Still in my cell waiting for my inevitable chance of getting tortured but Snowfall didn't came only Swift did. It was strange seeing Swift always seeing come to me.
Everest: Let me guess. I'm not gonna tortured?
Swift: You right. At this point I don't even know what Snowfall is even planning with you. Its just impossible to understand him.
Everest: But one thing we both know is he's cruel and manipulative.
Swift: Yes. Its still strange that I find you interesting....
Everest: Yeah why is that?
Swift: That I don't know.... I guess I'm intrested of girls who are brave and kind hearted....
Everest: Whoa whoa. That's kind of you. But I'm not interested of you.
Swift: Either am I. If even your boyfriend is still alive I doubt he be happy about you and me together. Besides I think of you more of a friend. A sister to me...
Everest: Really?
Swift: Yeah. Have I ever told you how I got most of these scars?
Everest: Wasn't it caused by the fire?
Swift: These scars from the fire were new ones. The others I got way back when I was still a kid....
Everest: Really?
Swift: Yeah I guess I could tell my story. It began when me and Chase are still kids. Our father died. I blamed Chase for his death of course and then we just went our separate life. I lived most of my life in adventure city fighting for my life. I was selected to be part of a army too. They said I was one of the most toughest German shepherds of them all. I fought for them and that's when I met Trigger.
Everest: Trigger whos that?
Swift: She's a Belgian Shepherd. She's a expert hand to hand combatic. She knows her ways to guns and melee weapons. She was smart, flirty, kind and full blown sweetheart, she was also well heh dare I say? My crush?
Everest: Wow I didn't knew you liked someone?
Swift: Yeah make fun of it as much as you like but it is true. But my feelings of her died out a long time ago.
Everest: What happened?
Swift: We were assigned as partners. She would usually get me out of sticky situation. However she would betrayed me and I've never'd showed trust, sympathy and compassion anymore. And I've left the army
Everest: What happened to Trigger?
Swift: I don't know. My guess she was captured and discharged for betraying the army. I used to be the same personality type. In fact I was just like that dalmatian you've dated. Fight to protect our loved ones. Served and protect. Well.... Not anymore.
Everest: Swift I'm so sorry for what happened to you..
Swift: Its fine. I'm just happy that I got that out of my system now. You know?
Everest: What?
Swift: There might be way that Marshall might still be alive.
Everest: You really think.
Swift: Yeah. Honestly how Icecap has been acting. I'm starting to believe that the dalmnatian survived the fall. I mean after all the cliff side has a body of water. And the island that the lookout was at. It wasn't high enought to cause the dalmnatian to fall to his death in the water. I actually searched the area myself. And I haven't found the body.
I was shocked by the revaluation of the possibility of Marshall still alive. If this is the case them maybe then just maybe Marshall. I shedded a tear by pure thought of Marshall being alive.
