Chapter 16: frigid payback

No one pov: Rushmore was heading to the firehouse to spend some time with Everest. He and Everest had gotten to spend some time together and finally reconnected. Everest even described the physical deception of Snowfall. Rushmore was about to reach his hand to firehouse door noob until he heard something it sounded like a rustle of bushes and leaves Rushmore turned around to find the source of the sound until he found nothing. Rushmore shrugged it off and turned back to the door and finally opened it and entered inside the firehouse. Inside the house Snowfall saw the room the entire house was already filled with life Rushmore smile seeing all the dalmatian kids happy.

Everest: Hey Rushmore.
Rushmore: Hey sis. I see your doing alright.
Everest: Yeah I'm doing better. You know, ever since Snowfall came to adventure bay to torment me. He had appeared in my nightmares. But now I'm feeling a little bit better now.
Rushmore: Well I'm glad you're feeling better. You know I thought I heard a rustle but I think it was in my head.
Everest: (A rustle? Oh no)
Rushmore: Eve you alright?
Everest: SHUT and Lock the door NOW.
Rushmore: Eve? Why do you want the door lock?
Snowfall: Oh, I think you would know why.

Rushmore turned around and saw a male husky but was unable dodge an upcoming attack as Snowfall grappled the other male husky. Rushmore try to struggle but was put to a halt when snowfall pulled a gun at his head. Everest was horrified was again seeing that Rushmore was put in danger because of her.

Snowfall: So this is where Mr Carter grew up at? Got a say this is nice looking house. It would be a shame that if the clean floors were covered in his blood. Wouldn't you say my dear Eve?
Rushmore: Don't listen to him! I had dealt with insane scumbags like him before.
Snowfall: Shut the hell up! Now listen closely to me Everest. You're going to come back with me.
Marshall: Like hell she'll come with you! Can't you take a hint that she doesn't want to be with you
Snowfall: Everest is my girlfriend. There for she's mine.
Marshall: Oh I'm sorry. But she chosed to leave you due to your abuse. And she's not your toy or property! She's a living being!
Snowfall: I don't care. Either you bring what is mine or I'll paint the floor with his blood
Everest: OKAY! OKAY! I'll come quietly.....
Marshall: Eve.....
Everest: It's okay Marshmallow. I can handle this.

Everest walked to the male black and white husky who is holding her brother hostage. The male husky gave an evil smile as he let go of her brother which made Everest grinded her teeth in pure anger. This was anger that she had held back for a long time. However this time she's not gonna hold back anymore. She could take the abuse

Snowfall: Ready to go my love?

Everest stood there in silence. Everest grabbed Snowfall by the wrist and pulled him in for a arm twist which surprised Marshall his family, her brother and Snowfall.

Everest: For five years you'd haunted my memories. The nightmares you given me. But this time I'm not going to sit back and endure more of your abuse. And I'm not going to watch you hurt the ones I love and held close to my heart

Everest said in her most cold expression that she ever made. The way in her tone of voice was mearly venomous. Everest reached to her back pocket and grabbed a knife and slashed at her ex face. Snowfall place his hand on the freshly cut scar on his face blood began to trickle down. This was something that Snowfall had ever witnessed. But Everest was not done she began to twist Snowfall arm in most painful position. *Crack* Everest heard the most satisfying popping sound she ever heard in her life. It was like music to her ears. Music that she couldn't hear. Everest then through the male husky out of the glass window which made the male husky realize that she won't come with her willingly. Snowfall began to leave while Everest had the rest watch as the male husky left. Once he left everyone turned to the female husky.

Everest: What?
Marshall: Eve... YOU WERE AMAZING!!!!

Marshall said gushing over his mate with a massive smile on his face. Which Everest giggled a little.

Everest: I thought it was about time I repay him of all the terrible things he's done.
Rushmore: You know I never knew you went though all of this. I'm so sorry I never came to help you.
Everest: No Rushmore if anything it wasn't your fault. You knew very well that me and Gasket were given to an care taker that was far from our old home. I just wish we never met that monster.
Rushmore: Still I should of helped you. I'm sorry.
Everest: like I said it was never your fault. But I doubt he stopped trying to make me come back to his hide out.
Rushmore: Well I guess we outta make sure he never comes back huh?
Everest: Maybe... Hey Rushmore can I ask a question?
Rushmore: Sure...
Everest: What was our parents like. What were their names.
Rushmore: Oh their names were Jack Winters and Ophelia Winters. They were the best parents. We weren't the most financially stable but we made do.
Everest: Oh, I see..... I just wish I got to know them better....
Rushmore: Even though they aren't here anymore, they taught me that life isn't fair and I guess you learned that too huh?
Everest: Given the fact that what happened, yes. And Marshy?
Marshall: Yeah Eve?
Everest: I'm so lucky to have someone like you by my side. You've been everything I've dreamed. Though not perfect. But that's okay. Because I'll change you for who you are.
Marshall: G-gosh... Eve that means so much. And Eve I love you so much than anything in the world. Well with the acceptance of my family.
Everest: *giggling* Oh Marshy.

Everest pulled Marshall into a kiss which Marshall embraced it only lasted for a second.

Marshall: So Eve, what are we going to do now since now you finally faced your first demon.
Everest: I don't know... Maybe I'll figure it out once we get some rest...
Marshall: Wow Eve it's already noon and your sleepy.

Marshall said with a bright smile. Which Everest smile back.

Everest: Well you know it's a battle of a century. And I won the day so I guess I do deserve some rest right?~
Marshall: Yeah I guess you're right. Admirably I'm also bit sleepy too..
Everest: Oh Marshy....

Everest said as she went to pick Marshall up like how the husband carries their bride.
