Chapter VIII: Where are They?

"Hello Mr. Min, is Chaeryeong there in the house? " a woman from the other line said.

"She's not here Mrs. Lee, she said she will be on a trip. " Mr. Min replied.

"Where is this trip could be? I tried to contact her since this morning and she's not picking up her phone. " Chaeryeong's mother is very worried on the other line.

"She just mentioned south Mrs. Lee, but we didn't know exactly where it is. I apologize for being irresponsible Mrs. Lee. " Mr. Min said.

"What! Just-just tried to contact her and search her phone's gps, I'll schedule a flight back there tomorrow morning. " Mrs. Lee said and hang up the call.

"Search for Ms. Chaeryeong's room, maybe she left a clue to where she is hurry! " Mr. Min said to the maids and they hurriedly went to Chaeryeong's room.

After few minutes of searching, they found a sticky note paste in book inside Chaeryeong's bed cabinet.

"Mr. Min I found this! " one of the maid said as she handed the sticky note to Mr. Min.

"Off to the Golden Rainbow. " Mr. Min read the note.

"Oh no. " Mr. Min said and hurriedly call Chaeryeong's mom.

"Hello Mr. Min, did you already find her? Where is she? Did you talk to her? " Mrs. Lee said slightly panicked.

"I haven't contacted her yet ma'am but I already know where she is. " Mr. Min said.

"Where is she? " Mrs. Lee asked.

"In the South Village ma'am and I think she's there to witness the golden rainbow. " Mr. Min said worriedly.

"What?! It's so dangerous! Find her now and call me if there's an update Mr. Min and make sure she's safe. " Mrs. Lee said before hangging the call.

Mr. Min sighed deeply then interrupted by someone.

"Mr. Min! Mr. Min, you need to see this! " a maid said from the kitchen.

Mr. Min hurriedly went to the kitchen and was shocked when he saw the news.

"Oh no no no no! " he hurriedly went outside and drove towards the South Village.

Meanwhile at Ryujin Aunt's house.

"Auntie! I missed you! " a young woman named Rosie hugged her aunt when she saw her going inside the house.

"Ahhh I miss you too Chaeyoung. Oh Ryujin's inside, maybe she's waiting for us. " her aunt said and together they went inside the house.

"Ryujinnie! We're here!" Rosie said cheerfully while putting her backpack in the wooden sofa.

"Ryujinnie, come out now, you're playing hide and seek again. " their aunt said while smiling walking towards the kitchen to prepare their dinner.

"Auntie, maybe she's sleeping, I'll just go to my room and put my backpack and I'll change my clothes and help you here auntie." Rosie said and went upstairs to her room.

When she went down, she went directly to the kitchen and helped her auntie.

"Maybe she's tired of school and the ride that's why she's still sleeping. " Rosie said to her aunt.

"Yeah, actually, she looked stressed when she arrived here, So Hee called me yesterday, she said Ryujin had a bad day at school and got injured because of her classmates. " their aunt sadly said.

"They still bullied her? What a bunch of stupid people, poor Ryujinnie needs to deal with them by herself. " Rosie said agreeing to what her aunt commented.
