The beatings

There were times where things became to much. Stephen had issues, issues he couldn't speak about properly, I'll never forget the time he first got so angry with me.

After quitting our jobs and living with my parents we had to visit Stephens to collect something, I can't remember what but I can remember the beating I received.

We argues about something, I questioned something, I was angry and shouted at him, never would I lay my hands on someone I loved. I screamed with anger when he grabbed me by my hair and dragged me across the floor, I lay there speechless that someone that was once so gental could turn into a monster I couldn't recognize. I lay there as he pulled and pulled until I sobbed with pain, I could feel the plummet of his fists on my face, I couldn't defend myself so all I could do was raise my hands and stop the blows.

The look on his eyes was horrendous, he saw red and he saw me as his punch bag, that was one of the less painful beatings.

Life continues with Stephen, stephen became obsessed with money, none of us worked and everything came down to me to provide. He signed up to contracts in my name and sold the phones, he took out loan after loan and never thought about the consequences or my account.
