The country breeze blew past Heejung as she pulled her luggage towards the door of their home, the wide plain beside it sending her senses serenity. Ringing the doorbell, she took her time to admire the house as she waited for the door to open.

"Omona, my Heejung's home!" The door flew open as her mother's arm, pulling her into a tight embrace. Ayeong helped her daughter pull her luggages inside and the neat, newly furnished living room greeted Heejung.

"You bought new furnitures? That's so fast, you haven't even been here for more than a week, Mom."

"I finished the meetings in the first three days so yeah, I took the rest of the time just tinkering over our house."

Our house. It still felt surreal for Heejung how they now preferred staying in a rural area than in their old mansion in the city. Guess their past home held so many unwanted memories of the painful past. But in here—where the fresh air gushes and a better view of the skies show—redemption and restoration remind themselves to the famiy.

"You're doing so great, Mom. I'm so proud of you." Heejung squeezed Ayeong by the side to which she giggled at.

"I'm proud of you, honey. You literally have come this far to be where you are now." Ayeong caressed her daughter's cheek fondly. "I can't wait to hear more of your music. And for the world to hear it and know that it's made by my gifted daughter." She held Heejung's chin up, a loving smile etched on her lips.

"Aw, that's so sweet, Mom. It will come."

"I love you, my Heejungie."

"Love you too."

The doorbell rang, interrupting their little moment and Ayeong snapped towards the door, her face lighting up. "That must be your friends."

"Myunghui?" The girl's brows twitched in question. "I thought they can't come?"

"She only said that." Ayeong chuckled, walking to the door to get it, and when it unclosed, Myunghui yelled Hejeung's name loudly and the girl being called reacted by running at her friend whom she hadn't seen for 2 years, almost collapsing on the floor at the big impact of their hug.

Chuckling, Ayeong went to the living room to follow up the delivery food she ordered beforehand.

"Woah. That was aggressive." Hansum commented, eyeing them as the pair cackled at each other. She removed her shoes and tiptoed inside, a paper bag in hand. "You clearly don't miss each other."

"Oh my gosh, Mrs. Kim. She lost so much weight!" Myunghui exclaimed when they parted, examining the slim shoulders and legs of Heejung which made the latter concious. "Do you even eat?"

"See? Told you she's been neglecting her meals." Hansum butted in with a flat tone and a straight face.

"No, I don't. I've just been busy, that's all," said Heejung defensively.
